Abstract:
A passive transponder includes an antenna, an antenna oscillator circuit and a data source. The antenna oscillator circuit is configured to operate at a first resonant frequency or at a second resonant frequency, depending on reception of energy at the transponder or on a data transmission from/to the data source.
Abstract:
An antenna arrangement has an inductive transmitting antenna having a main radiating axis, an inductive receiving antenna having a main receiving axis, and an inductive compensator. The inductive receiving antenna is arranged in the main radiating axis of the transmitting antenna. The inductive compensator is electrically connected in series to the receiving antenna and is arranged in a first plane which intersects a second plane. The main receiving axis of the receiving antenna here is normal to the second plane.
Abstract:
An antenna device has an inductive transmitting antenna having a main radiation direction, a plurality of spaced apart, adjacent conductors and a reference potential terminal. The plurality of spaced apart, adjacent conductors is connected to the reference potential terminal and arranged in a predetermined distance from the transmitting antenna along the main radiation direction in a plane antiparallel to the main radiation direction.
Abstract:
A controllable amplifier, which has two symmetrical outputs, at which two output signals mirror-symmetrical with respect to each other are present, is used for amplification of a burst signal. To achieve the largest possible eye opening of the signals to be fed to a comparator, a predetermined d.c. voltage difference for the formation of matched signals is adjusted for both output signals. After this, the arithmetic mean values of the two matched signals are formed and are fed to a second comparator. The output value of the second comparator is fed to an integrator, to which a reference voltage is also fed. In case of a deviation of the mean values of the two matched signals from each other, the amplifier is adjusted in a compensating direction by the integrator.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed. In at least one embodiment of the method, firstly, the process as described by a process definition is analysed such that those control sequence dependencies are discovered which are not supported by the data stream, the control sequences contained in the process are transformed in a first step into a corresponding Petri network and, in a second step, the Petri network is analysed. Secondly, the process is then reconstructed without the discovered redundant or unnecessary control sequence dependencies and an optimum process definition generated. Excess dependencies are thus automatically discovered and removed by way of at least one embodiment of the invention, in order to achieve, for example, an increased parallelisation or compatibility of partial processes.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of macrocyclic host systems and fluorescent dyes. In particular, the invention relates to apparatuses and methods for determining a change in the concentration of an analyte, in particular as a result of a catalysed reaction, preferably an enzymatically catalysed reaction and preferably in an aqueous solution (>50% by weight water).
Abstract:
A method and a device are disclosed for automated evaluation of the quality of a software source code, a quality target being predetermined for the quality of the source code. The current quality of the source code and the distance between the current quality of the source code and the predetermined quality target are determined for the quality of the source code. At least one embodiment of the invention permits high volumes of source code to be evaluated in an automated fashion with respect to their quality.
Abstract:
An arrangement includes a memory, a display, a user input device, and a processing circuit. The memory stores programming instructions and data values corresponding to a first object data record having a first format and a second object data record having a second format. The first record corresponds to a first BAS device, and the second record corresponds to a second BAS device. The processing circuit receives additional data values from BAS devices and stores the additional data values in the memory. The processing device retrieves a data value corresponding to the first record from the memory. The processing device stores an object type definition having a third format, and maps the data value corresponding to the first record to the third format. The processing circuit provides the requested data based on the mapped data value to a software operation for generating a display.
Abstract:
For controlling the level of electrical signals a circuit arrangement is formed with two series connected amplifiers. A first amplifier containing a first variable resistor, operates at maximum amplification when a low input signal level is received. A second amplifier comprises a series connection of a second variable resistor and a current-controlled voltage source with two complementary outputs. The outputs of the voltage source are connected to a comparator and a controller with two separate outputs. One of the controller outputs transmits a control signal while the other output simultaneously transmits a blocking signal. A first output of the controller is connected with the first variable resistor, while a second output of the controller is connected to the second variable resistor.
