An exemplary method includes receiving a focus instruction, wherein the focus instruction describes an object of focus; sending first context data to an external system; in response to sending first context data to the external system, receiving second context data from the external system, wherein the second context data comprises data associated with the object of focus; and identifying the object of focus based on the received second context data; and determining a focus distance based on the identified object.

摘要: A flash device includes a light emitting element configured to emit light and light controlling elements. The light controlling elements include a light receiving surface and a light exiting surface that is non-parallel to the light exiting surface of an adjacent light controlling element. The light controlling elements are individually adjustable to vary a difference between an amount of light received at the light receiving surface and an amount of light exited from the light exiting surface such that amounts of light exiting respective non-parallel light exiting surfaces vary to control direction of light emitted by the flash device.

摘要: An apparatus and method generate a three-dimensional image by determining, using a light-field camera, a depth map corresponding to an environment. The depth map represents how light falls in the environment. The method also includes determining a parallax occlusion map of the environment and creating, using the depth map and the parallax occlusion map, a three-dimensional image representing the environment. In some embodiments, the method includes taking a first picture of the environment with a first flash intensity and a second picture of the environment with a greater second flash, determining differences between the first picture of the environment and the second picture of the environment, determining one or more properties of the environment based at least in part on the determined differences and dynamically re-lighting the three-dimensional image using the depth map, the parallax occlusion map, and one or more of the determined properties of the environment.

摘要: An apparatus and method generate a three-dimensional image by determining, using a light-field camera, a depth map corresponding to an environment. The depth map represents how light falls in the environment. The method also includes determining a parallax occlusion map of the environment and creating, using the depth map and the parallax occlusion map, a three-dimensional image representing the environment. 摘要: Embodiments include a data input device and a portable electronic device including such a data input device. The data input device may include a key sensing mechanism and a solid material layer provided above the key sensing mechanism. The solid material layer may include a least one cavity that may go through the whole of the solid material layer. The cavity may include an electroactive polymer and two electrodes for providing a key that may be changed in shape based on an applied voltage. One embodiment may also allows the registering of inputs in the key sensing mechanism based on a user pressing down the electroactive polymer on the key sensing mechanism.
