摘要: An apparatus for determining information about shape and location of an ellipse involves determining two coordinates of a first ellipse point representing a point of the ellipse located furthest in the first direction, and determining two coordinates of a second ellipse point representing a point of the ellipse located furthest in a direction opposite to the first direction. The apparatus determines parameters of bent line segments approximating the ellipse at ellipse points or in a surrounding of ellipse points, and determines the coordinates of ellipse points based on the parameters of the bent line segments. The apparatus involves calculating ellipse parameters of the ellipse based on the two coordinates of the first ellipse point and the two coordinates of the second ellipse point. The apparatus enables real-time-capable determination of parameters of an ellipse included in an image to be analyzed.

摘要: A method and device for optically stimulating the visual system during static perimetry and for objectively evaluating adequate stimulus-related electrophysiological and/or magnetophysiological quantities. Light stimuli with defined parameters derived from a predetermined correlation function and from the known intensity dependence of the excitation response amplitude are presented to the observer. The excitation responses contained in the ERG and/or in the EEG/MEG are detected and processed. These excitation responses are used to determine and topographically evaluate the local sensitivity of the visual system. In one embodiment, the light sources are fixed inside a perimeter, and the excitation responses are amplified and digitized by a device, which preferably comprises an ERG/EEG measuring system and an A/D converter. To this end, the device, for the purpose of evaluating, and the light sources, for the purpose of controlling, are connected to a controlling means, preferably to a PC provided with evaluation and control software.

摘要: According to the invention, the eye of the subject is lit with light from the non-visible spectrum (infrared light) in such a way that its image, taken with an infrared camera, is of sufficiently high-contrast for an evaluation, so that the actual line of sight can be calculated from the picture based on the characteristics of the eye and that, proceeding from the determined line of sight, the coordinates of the coming optical stimulation can be adjusted in such a way that the intended retinal area is stimulated.

摘要: An apparatus for determining information about shape and/or location of an ellipse includes a coordinate determination means for determining two coordinates of a first ellipse point representing a point of the ellipse located furthest in the first direction, and for determining two coordinates of a second ellipse point representing a point of the ellipse located furthest in a direction opposite to the first direction. The coordinate determination means is formed to determine at least parameters of a first bent line segment approximating the ellipse at the first ellipse point or in a surrounding of the first ellipse point, and to determine the coordinates of the first ellipse point based on the at least one parameter of the first bent line segment. Similarly, the coordinate determination means is formed to determine the coordinates of the second ellipse point. Furthermore, the inventive apparatus includes an ellipse calculation means for calculating at least one ellipse parameter of the ellipse based on the two coordinates of the first ellipse point and the two coordinates of the second ellipse point. The inventive apparatus here enables real-time-capable determination of parameters of an ellipse included in an image to be analyzed.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and an arrangement to detect and measure the phase of periodic bio-signals. The aim of the invention is to detect and measure a causal phase response in periodic bio-signals with improved reliability and higher speed compared to conventional methods, simultaneously reducing the computing power required. According to the invention, a status observer is set up in parallel with the analyzed biological system. The output variables of the biological system and the observer are evaluated in order to minimize the occurring error. The determined phase of a periodic bio-signal can, for example, be used for functional diagnostic purposes.
