摘要: Methods and apparatus for specular surface mapping in which a camera detects reflections of a light source from a specular surface. The detected light sources may be projected onto a celestial sphere as virtual point sources. True positive observations should be tightly clustered on the celestial sphere; thus, false positives may be identified and removed. Specular surface information may then be determined from clusters of the virtual point sources on the celestial sphere. The clusters of virtual point sources on the celestial sphere may be identified and used to identify a surface as a specular surface. The clusters may also be used to extract other information regarding the specular surface, including but not limited to distance to and extent of the specular surface.

摘要: Various implementations disclosed herein improve the appearance of captured video by accounting for motion-induced blur, noise, lighting, and/or other factors related to the appearance of video captured by rotating or otherwise moving wearable electronic device. Some implementations reduce or eliminate camera motion blur during video capture by dynamically adjusting the exposure used to capture the video based on user motion. For example, exposure may be reduced to reduce the amount of blur during motion. Since such a reduced exposure captures a lesser amount of light, gain may be increased such that the captured video maintains a relatively constant image brightness in spite of the changing exposure over time.

摘要: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that adjust a focus of a camera based on a distance associated with a determined user attention. For example, an example process may include obtaining sensor data from one or more sensors in a physical environment. The process may include determining at least one gaze direction of at least one eye based on the sensor data. The process may further include determining a distance associated with user attention based on a convergence determined based on an intersection of gaze directions of the at least one gaze direction, or a distance of an object in a 3D representation of the physical environment based on the at least one gaze direction. The process may further include adjusting a focus of a camera of the one or more sensors based on the distance associated with the user attention.
