    摘要: A lamp is provided that is controlled by messages transmitted via a network. The lamp has an internal memory that stores an address and an internal control circuit that responds to received messages that refer to this address. The address is updated when the lamp is installation in a power supply socket, using for example an address from the first message that is transmitted after installation. The lamp contains a detector that detects disconnection of the lamp from the power supply socket, for example by monitoring a resistance value between two parts of one of the power supply terminals of the lamp. In response to this detection the control circuit of the lamp sets information that enables an update of the address in the memory. When it is detected that the lamp is again connected to a power supply socket the address is updated on condition that the update is enabled.

    摘要: A lamp is provided that is controlled by messages transmitted via a network.     摘要: The present invention relates to a polar modulation apparatus and method, in which an in-phase and a quadrature-phase signal are processed in the analog domain to generate an analog signal corresponding to a derivative of a phase component of said polar-modulated signal. The analog signal is then input to a control input of a controlled oscillator (40). As an example, the processing may be based on a differentiate-and-multiply algorithm in the analog domain. Thereby, phase and envelope signals are generated in the analog domain and bandwidth enlargement due to the processing of the polar signals and corresponding aliasing can be prevented to obtain a highly accurate polar-modulated output signal.

    摘要: A distance measurement arrangement provides a distance indication based on a delay between an electromagnetic signal, transmitted in a transmission mode, and a reflection of the electromagnetic signal, received in a reception mode. The distance measurement arrangement includes an antenna module having a plurality of antennas for transmitting the electromagnetic signal and for receiving the reflection. A beam-forming module defines respective magnitude and phase relationships with respect to respective antennas so as to cause the antenna module to provide a directional antenna pattern in at least one the two modes. A beam-forming and steering control module controls the respective magnitude and phase relationships as a function of a direction command. A 3-D picture can be formed by applying respective direction commands so as to obtain respective distance indications for respective portion in a two-dimensional picture.

    摘要: A distance measurement arrangement (DDM) provides a distance indication (DV) on the basis of a delay between an electromagnetic signal (TB), which is transmitted in a transmission mode, and a reflection (RB) of the electromagnetic signal, which is received in a reception mode. The distance measurement arrangement includes an antenna module (AM) comprising a plurality of antennas for transmitting the electromagnetic signal (TB) and for receiving the reflection (RB) thereof. A beam-forming module (BF) defines respective magnitude and phase relationships with respect to respective antennas so as to cause the antenna module (AM) to provide a directional antenna pattern in at least one the two aforementioned modes. Preferably, a beam-forming and steering control module (BC) controls the respective magnitude and phase relationships as a function of a direction command (DIR). A 3-D picture can be formed by applying respective direction commands (DIR) so as to obtain respective distance indications (DV) for respective portions in a two-dimensional picture.
