    摘要: A method and system is disclosed for generating a help interface to present static help content and customized help content for an application. Help content data is accessed to define the static help content and a control command to support incorporation of the customized help content. The control command is implemented to determine a configuration of the application, and a user context is determined based on a user characteristic and the application configuration. The customized help content is then resolved based on the control command and the user context. In some cases, a help system may include a help viewer module or program in communication with a computer-readable memory storing the help content data. The help viewer may then render the help interface based on the static help content and customized help content resolved from the control command, the application configuration, and other aspects of the user context in which it is presented.

    摘要: A method and system are disclosed for configuring and generating a customized help user interface. The disclosed method and system are based on a technique that includes incorporating a reference to a help content source in a customizable metadata layer of a plurality of metadata layers. Each metadata layer of the plurality of metadata layers includes respective instruction sets that define the help user interface in accordance with a layer precedence. The help content source is then stored as part of a collection of discrete sources of help content. When the help user interface is later rendered, the layer precedence determines whether the help content source referenced in the customizable metadata layer or one or more of the other discrete sources of help content in the collection is utilized by a interface-rendering engine that generates the help user interface.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and system for implementing an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) for creating a data file for product and process configuration. The data file could contain information relating to how a given product is to be made, such as a list of components and how they are to be assembled (“routings”). The GUI according to embodiments of the present invention reduces the amount of user manipulation required as compared with the prior art. According to the embodiments, a user is presented with a single screen display that lets the user maintain component lists and associated routings with simple, high-level input values.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for generating solar power in agricultural fields while minimally impacting crop growth and farming efforts, including positioning an elongated solar panel above crops, wherein the elongated solar panel runs generally parallel to longitudinal lines and wherein the elongated solar panel has at least one solar transducing face and an endless edge surrounding and perpendicular to the at least one solar transducing face, automatically pivoting the elongated solar panel such that the at least one solar transducing face is oriented parallel to incident solar rays during predetermined times when plant growth requires incident sunlight, automatically pivoting the elongated solar panel such that the at least one solar transducing face is oriented parallel to the vertical during rain, automatically pivoting the elongated solar panel out of the way of heavy farm equipment, and automatically pivoting the elongated solar panel such that the at least one solar transducing face is oriented perpendicular to incident solar rays at predetermined times when plant growth does not require direct sunlight. The elongated solar panel is positioned sufficiently above crops to give clearance to heavy farm equipment passing therebelow and/or adjacent panels are spaced sufficiently apart such that heavy farm equipment may pass therebetween.
