    摘要: A kitchen shaking apparatus includes a housing, a controllable oscillating actuator contained in the housing, a platform mechanically coupled to the controllable oscillating actuator, and a plurality of adjustable coacting restraining arms operably coupled to the housing. Each of the restraining arms including a vertical segment and a horizontal segment and is positioned and configured to allow the vertical segment to contact an object on the platform. A speed control is configured to control frequency of oscillation of the actuator. A timer control is configured to control duration of operation of the actuator. A locking mechanism releasably locks at least one adjustable restraining arm at a user-selectable position. A removable pad is attached to the top surface of the platform. After shaking mixed ingredients using the apparatus, the ingredients are devoid of substantial air pockets and the consistency is improved for an enhanced processed food product.

    摘要: A storage assembly for use with a chair. The chair has a seat supported by a framework such as one or more legs. The storage assembly includes at least one storage unit, preferably a plurality of storage units, each having at least one storage feature, such as a recess, drawer, hook, container or case. The storage assembly is attachable to the seat or the supportive framework of the chair below the seat of the chair, and does not protrude substantially therefrom. In an embodiment with a plurality of shelves, the shelves are connected to a support structure such as a pair of side walls. One or more leg attachments operably couple the assembly to one or more chair legs. For example, a leg attachment may connect a wall to a leg. As each shelf is connected to the wall, the leg attachment couples the shelf to the leg, via the wall. The leg attachment may be a pivoting, telescopic arm with a clamp, a belt, snap fit, integrally molded or other suitable connector. The storage assembly may be permanently or removably attached to the chair.

    摘要: A system and method for distributing multimedia content to a mobile wireless platform of the present invention. In an illustrative embodiment, the inventive system includes memory for receiving and storing said multimedia content; a controller for automatically transmitting said content; and a wireless platform for automatically receiving, storing and playing out said content. In a specific implementation, the receipt, storage and playback functions are implemented with an applet running on the platform. The content may be transmitted using Global Packet Radio Service (GPRS), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) or other suitable network. The applet includes a decoder and code for decompressing said multimedia content. In one embodiment, the system is adapted to transmit multimedia content to a selected mobile wireless platform based on a location thereof. This may be implemented with a GPS receiver or by using cellular position location services. The system includes a server which retrieves data delivery metrics from a database and generates multimedia messages for selected devices accordingly. In the illustrative embodiment, the server generates a schedule file for the playback of the messages and sends messages to the wireless platforms to download the schedule. The schedule file includes a message file address. The applet downloads the schedule file and extracts the message file address. This address is used to download the multimedia message. The message is output in accordance with the schedule. Data relating to the output of the multimedia file is stored for feedback to the server.
