摘要: A surgical camera system includes a camera with at least one sensor configured to capture image data comprising a first range of wavelengths and a second range of wavelengths. An excitation light source emits an excitation emission at an excitation wavelength. A controller is in communication with the at least one sensor of the camera. The controller is configured to process the image data from the at least one sensor and detect at least one fluorescent portion of the image data in response to a fluorescent emission generated by a fluorescent agent in the second range of wavelengths. The controller is further configured to generate enhanced image data demonstrating the at least one fluorescent portion of the surgical implement in the image data.

The handheld rotary medical device may include an inner drive shaft, an elongated, tubular, outer housing encapsulating the inner drive shaft such that the inner drive shaft is positioned within the outer housing. The inner drive shaft may include one or more inner drive shaft bendable sections, and the outer housing may include one or more outer housing bendable sections. The inner drive shaft bendable section may be heated to anneal the material forming the inner drive shaft bendable section such that during use the inner drive shaft bendable section may be bent into a desired position and, once bent, the inner drive shaft bendable section remains in the desired position and does not bind against the elongated, tubular, outer housing.

摘要: A surgical imaging system includes at least one camera apparatus having a camera body including an image sensor configured to capture image data in a field of view. A scope extends along a longitudinal axis from the camera body. A camera orientation sensor is in connection with the camera apparatus. The camera orientation sensor detects a camera orientation of the camera apparatus. A scope orientation sensor detects a scope orientation of the scope relative to the camera body. A controller monitors the camera orientation and the scope orientation. In response to a change in the scope orientation relative to the camera orientation, the controller updates a rotation of the field of view of the image data.
