    摘要： Various techniques are disclosed for facilitating on-line contextual analysis and/or advertising operations implemented in a computer network. According to some embodiments, various aspects may be used for enabling advertisers to provide contextual advertising promotions to end-users based upon real-time analysis of web page content which may be served to an end-user's computer system. In at least one embodiment, the information obtained from the real-time analysis may be used to select, in real-time, contextually relevant information, advertisements, and/or other content which may then be displayed to the end-user, for example, via real-time insertion of textual markup objects and/or dynamic content. According to specific embodiments, various operations may be performed for adapting or modifying a conventional context-based advertising systems to improve various features such as, for example, ad relevance estimation, click-through rate estimation, advertisement selection and layout, balancing exploration and exploitation, etc.

    摘要： Systems and methods for using automated translation and other statistical methods to convert a classifier in one language to another language are provided. In one embodiment of the invention, a method preferably includes marking target language examples of passages of text in order to obtain an initial classifier in the target language, re-classifying a plurality of target language examples in the initial classifier, and then questioning—i.e., determining the validity—of the marking used to obtain the initial classifier. Preferably, the questioning is based on the re-classifying. Then, preferably following the questioning, the method isolates a high-quality set of target examples based on the results of the questioning. Finally, the method uses the high-quality set of target examples to prepare a high-quality classifier in the target language.

    摘要： An aqueous, alkaline cleaning composition for use on hard-to-clean soils, encountered in pharmaceutical, personal care, food and cosmetic manufacturing, comprising a source of alkalinity, a biodegradable surfactant system further comprising one or more surfactants, one or more hydrotropes, and a UV-analyzable surfactant, and a biodegradable chelating agent. The composition offers unique advantages of stability over the expected shelf life, low-foaming property, phosphate-free and biodegradable components, and unexpectedly enhanced antimicrobial, including virucidal, activity in one cleaning composition. The UV-analyzable surfactant allows for validation of cleaning processes using known techniques for manufacturers who are required or desire to do so.

    摘要： A system for reducing higher order nonlinearities in the linearized output of a dimension gauging probe in which the dimension gauging probe provides an output varying inversely with the physical dimension gauged which is in turn linearized to a signal varying proportionally with the physical dimension. Higher order nonlinearities, an error condition, which deviate the correspondence between the gauged dimension and the output from a linear or straight-line function, are reduced by feedback of the linearized output to the probe and, preferably, by feedforward of a portion of the probe output signal to the linearized signal.
