摘要： A curtain airbag capable for preventing occupant ejection from a vehicle, particularly in the vicinity of a rearmost seat, while reducing the output required of an inflator associated with the airbag. The curtain airbag is stored at an upper position on a side surface portion of the occupant compartment of the vehicle, so as to be inflated and deployed along the side surface portion. The curtain airbag includes an inflation region and a wide portion in the form of non-inflatable cloth. The wide portion is attached to a rear edge portion of the inflation region and also attached to at least one point of the vehicle rearward of a front-side pillar, the front-side pillar being located forward of rearmost side window. The wide portion has a shape that allows it to be strained, by the inflated and deployed inflation region, into a generally planar configuration over an assumed strike area of the rearmost side window.

摘要： A vehicle curtain airbag device capable of improving an occupant ejection preventing performance at an end of a vehicle in the longitudinal direction and providing an excellent impact absorbing function when receiving an occupant in a vehicle interior. A front strap is provided between a seam portion that divides a front chamber positioned at an end of a vehicle longitudinal direction from an adjacent main chamber, and a front pillar positioned at the end of the vehicle longitudinal direction so as to connect the seam portion to the front pillar, on an outer surface of the front chamber. A height position of a first connecting portion (P) between the front pillar and the front strap is set to be higher than a height position of a second connecting portion (Q) between the seam portion and the front strap. The front strap is set to be shorter than a length between the first connecting portion and a position to which the second connecting portion tries to move according to the inflation and deployment if the front strap is not present, and is stretched substantially linearly between the first and second connecting portions by the inflated and deployed front chamber.

摘要： A disposable pressure transducer for measuring fluid pressure, which includes a sensor assembly in a housing. The housing includes a fluid chamber and a sensor-accommodating chamber which are formed integrally with each other. The sensor assembly comprises: a sensor chip for converting pressure into an electrical signal; an insulating board on which the sensor chip is mounted and which is provided with an integrated-circuit for processing an output signal of the sensor chip so that an external measuring device can read the signal; a cylindrical coupling lid which is bonded to the board in such a manner as to surround the sensor chip and which is fitted into a communication through-hole which provides communication between the fluid chamber and the sensor-accommodating chamber of the housing; a pressure-transmitting medium charged into the interior of the coupling lid so as to provide electrical insulation between the fluid chamber and the sensor chip; and an electrical cable connected to the board and electrically connected to the external measuring device.

An indicator portion having a jagged configuration that varies in reflectance of light depending on the quantity of the application liquid in the liquid absorber is formed adjacent to the liquid absorber, and the formed area of the indicator portion of an application liquid feeder can be visually observed from the outside so that the quantity of the application liquid can be displayed by the reflected light of indicator portion. The applicator allows a visual check on whether the application liquid is full or less when the applicator is unused or when the application liquid is decreased after use, from the change of the reflectance of light in indicator. The applicator permits easy confirmation of the liquid quantity and can easily avoid liquid blobbing.

The curtain airbag is housed in an upper portion of a side surface inside a vehicle cabin and deployed along the side surface. The curtain airbag includes: a main chamber having a protection area for the occupant, and receiving an inflation gas and being inflated along a side window of a vehicle; a first chamber that overlaps an upper edge of the side window of the vehicle, the first chamber extends by being deployed toward an upper side of the main chamber along the upper portion of the side surface inside the vehicle cabin. The main chamber includes a second chamber positioned in a below portion of the first chamber to overlap the vehicle beltline upon deployment.

摘要： A curtain airbag capable of preventing a partial decrease in internal pressure to improve ejection prevention performance. The airbag includes: a main chamber, which inflates first; a delay chamber that is inflated with gas from the main chamber; a linear seam portion where front and back base fabrics are joined to partition the main chamber from the delay chamber; a planar seam portion formed at a lower end of the linear seam portion to define a non-inflation region in a range of the front and back base fabrics; and a gas inflow channel provided between the planar seam portion and the lower edge of the airbag to allow gas to flow from the main chamber into the delay chamber. The front and back base fabrics of the gas inflow channel sag upon completion of inflation and deployment to form a wrinkled portion that blocks or narrows the gas inflow channel.

摘要： A curtain airbag device that can be applied to a small-width pillar. The curtain airbag device is accommodated in a region extending from at least an A-pillar to an upper portion of a window frame, and includes an airbag that is deployed in a curtain form near a side window of a vehicle interior in order to protect an occupant; and a gas generator that supplies inflation gas to the airbag. The accommodated airbag is formed in a rod shape by being folded in a roll form. When the airbag is accommodated, the airbag is partially compressed toward the center of the airbag at a narrow portion where an installation area of the A-pillar is narrow, in order to partially decrease a diameter of the airbag.
