Peaks detected by the peak detector are passed to a data path detector having second threshold set at a power level higher than the threshold in the peak detector. In one embodiment, a third threshold is set within a filter to suppress secondary maxima created by the generation of the delay power profile. The detected paths may set in a rake type receiver.
