Provided are personal care compositions comprising a first surfactant comprising sodium lauryl sulfate and a second surfactant having a structure represented by wherein each a has a value of about 1 to about 110, b has a value of about 16 to about 70, and at least one R group is SO3, and the other R group is SO3 or hydrogen. Also provided are methods of producing personal care compositions and methods of ameliorating skin or mucosal membrane irritation due to sodium lauryl sulfate.

A composition for cleaning a surface and an article including a substrate and the composition for cleaning the surface are provided herein. The composition comprises a biocide, a first alcohol alkoxylate, an alkyl polyglycoside, a supplemental alcohol alkoxylate, and water. The composition is substantially free of organic solvents and has a cleaning performance of from 30% to 70% as determined in accordance with the Federal Test method Std. No. 536A/GEN, “Soap and Soap-Products (Including Synthetic Detergent)”.

Described herein is a laundry detergent composition including at least one quaternized ethoxysulfated hexamethylene diamine, at least one ethoxylated polyethyleneimine and at least one surfactant. Also described herein is a method for removal of particulate, greasy, or bleachable stains from a fabric. Described herein is a unit dose article including the laundry detergent composition.

The present invention relates to a method for reducing hydrophobic soil from a textile comprising the step of treating the textile with a cleaning composition comprising at least two surfactants selected from nonionic surfactants of general formula (I) and/or alkylpolyglycosides of general formula (II). The present invention further relates to a use of the cleaning composition for reducing hydrophobic soil from a textile.
