    Abstract: Hybrid moisture curable compositions comprising an acrylic copolymer, a functional silicone, a crosslinker, and a moisture cure catalyst are disclosed. The acrylic copolymer includes (i) a functional monomer selected from a silane monomer, a siloxane monomer, a hydroxy functional monomer, or a combination thereof or (ii) a reaction product of an amino silane and an acrylic polymer derived from one or more (meth)acrylates and one or more carboxylic acid anhydrides. The hybrid compositions are stable and exhibit properties typically ascribed to each individual polymer component. Methods of making and using the hybrid curable compositions are also described.

    Abstract: Compositions comprising a copolymer, an inorganic filler, and a moisture cure catalyst are described herein. In some instances, the copolymer can be derived from a (meth)acrylate, a carboxylic acid anhydride, and an aminosilane, wherein the aminosilane can be pendant from the copolymer backbone. In other instances, the copolymer can be derived from a (meth)acrylate and an organosilane in the absence of a chain transfer agent at a temperature of at least 150° C. Methods of making and using the compositions are further described. In some examples, the compositions are adhesive compositions and can be used in adhering two substrates, such as in floor covering.

    Abstract: A process for continuously preparing a polymer by free-radical polymerization, the process includes: continuously feeding to a reactor a mixture including about 20 wt % to about 96 wt % of a vinylic monomer, the vinylic monomer comprising a styrenic monomer, a (meth)acrylic monomer, or a mixture thereof, greater than 0 wt % to about 0.25 wt % of a polymerization initiator, and about 4 wt % to about 80 wt % of a reaction solvent; maintaining the reactor at a temperature from about 120° C. to about 190° C.; and collecting the polymer; where the polymer has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) from 20,000 g/mol to about 300,000 g/mol.
