摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for driving a display device, an apparatus for driving a display device, a display device and a computer readable medium. The display device includes a backlight module, and the backlight module includes a plurality of backlight partitions. The driving method may include: determining backlight signal values of the plurality of backlight partitions according to input grayscale values of pixels in an image to be displayed; determining a backlight jump value of each of the plurality of backlight partitions according to the backlight signal values of the plurality of backlight partition; adjusting the backlight signal values of the plurality of backlight partitions according to the backlight jump values to obtain adjusted backlight signal values; and driving the backlight module to emit light using the adjusted backlight signal values of the plurality of backlight partitions.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for driving a display device to display an image sequence and a display device therefor. The display device includes a backlight module having a plurality of backlight partitions. The image sequence includes at least a first frame image and a second frame image. The method includes determining a first region in the first frame image and a second region in the second frame image that correspond to an overlapping portion of the first frame image and second frame image as overlapping regions; obtaining, based at least partially on a first backlight value of a first backlight partition(s) corresponding to the first region, a second backlight value of a second backlight partition corresponding to the second region; and controlling a backlight brightness of the second backlight partition based on the second backlight value when the display device displays the second frame image.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for controlling a virtual reality display device, wherein the virtual reality display device includes a display, an optical system, and a movement controller. In this method, an anti-distortion image is generated based on the original image according to distortion parameters of the optical system. The anti-distortion image includes an effective image area and an invalid image area, wherein the effective image area includes image information of the original image. The movement control information is written into the invalid image area, and the movement control information is used by the movement controller to control the movement of the display. The anti-distortion image is provided to the virtual reality display device.

摘要: A method for processing an image in a virtual reality display device and a related virtual reality display device are provided. A gaze area and a non-gaze area are determined in a display area of a virtual reality display device. At a first time instant, a rendering process is performed in the gaze area and the non-gaze area to generate a first image. Based on attitude information of the virtual reality display device at a second time instant, a time warping process is performed on the first image to generate a second image. Based on the movement information and attribute information of the motion object in the gaze area, the second image is modified. With the modifying the second image, problems caused by the time warping process can be avoided, delays can be reduce, and smearing or ghosting can be avoided, thus a good display effect can be obtained.

摘要: A method for processing an image in a virtual reality display device comprises determining a gaze area and a non-gaze area in a display area of the virtual reality display device, performing, at a first time instant, a rendering process in the gaze area and the non-gaze area to generate a first image, performing a time warping process on the first image to generate a second image, based on attitude information of the virtual reality display device at a second time instant, and modifying the second image based on the movement information and attribute information of a motion object in the gaze area. The method can avoid problems caused by the time warping process, reduce delays, and avoid smearing or ghosting, and thus obtain a good display effect.

The method comprises: determining, with respect to a current frame image, a first backlight brightness value for each backlight partition; determining a scene type of the current frame image according to the first backlight brightness value and a ratio of black regions in the current frame image; obtaining an actual backlight brightness value for each of the plurality of the backlight partitions with respect to the current frame image, by processing the first backlight brightness value according to the scene type determined; and driving the backlight module with the actual backlight brightness value, so as to adjust the backlight brightness for each backlight partition in the backlight module.
