    摘要: An elongated drill bit has a shank at one end and working end at the other. A flute portion is between the working end and the shank. The flute portion is continuous with the shank and working end and is generally unitarily formed with them. The flute portion has at least one flute with a helix angle between approximately 30° and 35°. The working end has a pilot tip with a cutting portion. A tapered web is formed in the flute portion, a thickness of the web at the tip of the working end is about 9% to 15% of the nominal diameter.

The gear assembly transfers an externally generated force to a driver head of the nut runner accessory. The nut runner accessory can include an alignment device that can be automatically or manually operated to align an open ended slot of the gear assembly and driver head with an open ended slot of the housing. The alignment of respective open end portions of the open ended slots defined by the gear assembly, driver head, and housing allows a nut/threaded rod to be inserted into and removed from an engagement portion of the nut runner accessory.

    摘要: A tool bit assembly includes a tool bit having a shaft with a first working region disposed at a first end of the shaft and a first reduced diameter portion proximate the working region and disposed between a first shoulder and a second shoulder. A floating sleeve has a rear portion with a pair of opposed window openings, a front portion supporting a magnet, and a pair of balls, with each ball disposed in one of the window openings. The floating sleeve is receivable over the tool bit with the magnet proximate the first working regions and the balls received in the first reduced diameter portion to allow the floating sleeve to move between a first position in which the balls abut the first shoulder and a second position in which the balls abut the second shoulder.

    摘要: A right angle attachment for use with a power tool that includes a housing having a handle portion and a gear case attached to the handle portion and supporting first and second right angle gears wherein the first right angle gear is driven by an input shaft that is connected to the drill and the second right angle gear has an opening therein for receiving a hex bit directly therein. A floating magnet head can surround the hex bit to aid in fastener retention and can be movable out of proximity of the hex bit to facilitate easy removal of the hex bit for replacement. An additional magnet can be disposed within the gear case at the base of the hex bit in order to magnetize the hex bit and further enhance the retention of the fastener therein.

    摘要: A tool bit holding system for a power tool includes a snap-on bit holder including a curved plate contoured similar to a contour of a top surface of a power tool housing and configured to removably rest on the top of the power tool housing. A plurality of legs extend from lateral ends of the curved plate, each leg including a hook portion configured to be removably received in recesses in lateral sides of the power tool housing to removably retain the curved plate on the top surface of the power tool housing. A bit holding portion includes at least one of a magnetic plate, a box, and one or more bit receiving slots coupled to a top face of the curved plate. The at least one of the magnetic plate, the box, and the one or more bit receiving slots is configured to removably retain at least one of a tool bit, a fastener, and a supplemental tool bit holder.
