    Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling a video call, and a video calling system are disclosed. The apparatus for controlling a video call includes: a transceiver configured to receive, in a display time period, video information of a remote party and transmit video information of a local party; a processor communicatively connected to the transceiver; and a memory having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: control, at least in a collection time period, the video collector to collect the video information of the local party, and control, in the collection time period, the video collector to be aligned with a face of the local party; and control, in the collection time period, the display apparatus to be in a non-display state, and control, in the display time period, the display apparatus to display a video of the remote party according to the video information of the remote party. The video calling system includes the apparatus for controlling a video call described above.

    Abstract: A beam expanding structure and an optical display module are disclosed. The beam expanding structure includes a plurality of transparent substrates in a stacked arrangement. Each transparent substrate includes a first reflective area and a second transflective. In each transparent substrate, the first area is to reflect a light beam incident thereon to the second area of one or more transparent substrate at downstream; the second area is to transmit part of a light beam received from one or more transparent substrate at upstream to an observation point, while reflecting rest of the light beam received from the one or more transparent substrate at upstream back to one or more transparent substrate at upstream; and the second area is further to at least partially reflect a light beam received from one or more transparent substrate at downstream back to one or more transparent substrate at downstream.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides in some embodiments a vehicle-mounted head-up display system, including a projector, a diffuser, and an imaging plate. The projector is configured to generate projection light beams in accordance with a to-be-projected image, so as to form a real image of the to-be-projected image at a light-entering surface of the diffuser. The diffuser is configured to expand the light beams and transmit the expanded light beams to the imaging plate. The imaging plate is configured to converge the expanded light beams into an imaging light beam, and transmit the imaging light beam to an interior of a vehicle through a front windshield of the vehicle, so as to form a virtual image of the to-be-projected image on a reverse extension line of the imaging light beam outside the vehicle.
