    Abstract: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided. The driving method includes supplying a first voltage Vp1 to a sub-pixel of the display device through data lines in a first stage of a control period for displaying an image. A time for displaying the image includes a plurality of control periods, and the control period includes the first stage and at least a second stage following the first stage. The driving method also includes supplying a second voltage Vp2 to the sub-pixel through the data lines in the second stage. A gate scanning frequency of the first stage is F1 and a gate scanning frequency of the second stage is F2. When the first stage ends, the sub-pixel has a pixel voltage Vp3, F1 |Vp3|.

    Abstract: A curvature-adjustable display device includes: a detection module configured to detect a curvature of the display device and send the curvature; a backlight module including a plurality of backlight substructures, in which each backlight substructure is configured to provide backlight for different areas of the display device according to a backlight driving parameter matched with the backlight substructure; a driver module which is configured to receive the curvature sent by the detection module, determine the backlight driving parameter required by each backlight substructure according to the received curvature and a preset corresponding relationship between the curvature and the backlight driving parameter, and send the backlight driving parameter to each corresponding backlight substructure, respectively, so that the backlight substructures can provide backlight for different areas of the display device according to the backlight driving parameter matched with the backlight substructure; and a display panel configured to display images.

    Abstract: A display method for a display device and the display device are provided. The display device includes multiple gate lines and multiple data lines, each of the gate lines extends in a row direction, and each of the data lines extends in a column direction. The method includes: dividing a display region of the display device into multiple sub-regions, where each of the sub-regions includes all of the data lines in the row direction and includes at least one of the gate lines in the column direction; controlling, when the display device is shut down or powered down, a gate driving circuit of the display device to input a turn-on voltage into the gate lines in each of the sub-regions one by one; and controlling a source driving circuit of the display device to input a voltage corresponding to a grayscale value of 0 to each of the data lines.

    Abstract: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided.     Abstract: The present application discloses a method for reducing brightness of images at least partially. The method includes determining a grayscale mapping table corresponding to a previous frame of image and adjusting grayscale value of each pixel of a current frame of image based on the grayscale mapping table to enhance a contrast ratio to determine an after-adjust grayscale value of each pixel of the current frame of image. Furthermore, the method includes determining one or more coefficients of grayscale reduction based on the after-adjust grayscale value of each pixel of the current frame of image. Moreover, the method includes reducing grayscale value of each pixel of a next frame of image based on the one or more coefficients of grayscale reduction and after-adjust grayscale values of corresponding pixels of the next frame of image.
