摘要: The invention relates to a sealant composition, and a liquid crystal display panel using the same. The sealant composition comprises an expansive monomer which can compensate for the volume shrinkage occurring during polymerization of traditional sealant compositions. The sealant composition of the invention can improve the alignment accuracy, enhance the bonding strength, and reduce the vernier key level of the panel, so that the problems such as lower alignment accuracy and bonding strength caused by the volume shrinkage during polymerization of the traditional sealant compositions can be solved.

摘要: The present invention provides a substrate fitting process and a substrate assembly to be fitted, wherein the substrate assembly to be fitted of the present invention, a periphery mold frame is disposed on a surface of a substrate, a cell mold frame is disposed inside said periphery mold frame, the height of said cell mold frame is larger than the height of said periphery mold frame. A substrate fitting process of the present invention comprises: providing a cell mold frame on a surface of a first substrate, providing a cell mold frame inside the periphery mold frame for sealing liquid crystal, the height of said cell mold frame is larger than the height of the periphery mold frame; extracting the air between the first substrate and the second substrate; making the first substrate fit with the second substrate preliminarily; filling the air between the first substrate and the second substrate; making the first substrate further fit with the second substrate. With the technical solution of the present invention, the puncture caused by the impact of the in-cell liquid crystal onto the cell mold frame is prevented, and the time and the costs of the process is decreased, meanwhile the probability of the circuit metal wire and the component switch on the liquid crystal panel suffering corrode of the thinning acid is decreased.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for rubbing an alignment layer on a substrate with a plurality of spacers that are arranged in rows and columns and a liquid crystal display panel. The method includes: determining a first rubbing direction and a second rubbing direction in such a manner that the second rubbing direction is an arrangement direction of liquid crystal molecules when the liquid crystal molecules are arranged correctly on the alignment layer, and an angle between the first rubbing direction and the second rubbing direction is greater than or equal to arctan (b/a), where a represents a row pitch between the spacers and b represents a width of one spacer; performing a first rubbing on the alignment layer in the first rubbing direction; and performing a second rubbing on the alignment layer in the second rubbing direction. The second rubbing direction is different from the first rubbing direction.

摘要: A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, and the display device includes an array substrate, an opposite substrate and sealant frames between the array substrate and the opposite substrate, with a pre-cutting position disposed between two adjacent the sealant frames. The display device further includes a barrier layer between the array substrate and the opposite substrate and at a position corresponding to the above-mentioned pre-cutting position, and a material forming the barrier layer has an elongation at fracture smaller than that of a material forming the sealant frames. The display device can solve the problem of a large quantity of burrs caused by the sealant frames during the cutting process of a display screen under the precondition of reducing production costs.

摘要: The invention discloses a sealant composition used for improving residual image, which comprises a heat-curable and/or UV-curable primary sealant and a both UV-curable and moisture-curable secondary sealant. In the sealant composition of the present invention, a “multi-curable” sealant system is built by introducing a novel dual-curable resin as the secondary sealant into the conventional sealant, wherein the primary sealant can impart sufficient strength to the sealant composition through heat-curing and/or UV-curing, and the secondary sealant can adsorb the water vapor between the glass substrates through UV-curing and moisture-curing. The primary sealant and the secondary sealant are used together for bonding glass substrates, which can avoid the insufficient adhesion of the conventional sealant caused by solvent molecules (e.g. water vapor etc.) during the encapsulation of glass substrates, and ensure high adhesion strength and strong collapse resistance of the sealant.

摘要: The present application provides a display substrate and a display device. The display substrate includes a display region and a non-display region, a surface layer of the display region being rubbed to form an alignment layer, the non-display region being provided with a test electrode, the test electrode including multiple strip-shaped first sub-electrodes, the extending direction of the first sub-electrodes being the same with the direction of the rubbing for forming the alignment layer. By dividing the test electrode into multiple strip-shaped first sub-electrodes and the extending direction of the first sub-electrodes (i.e., the length direction) being the same as the rubbing direction of the rubbing to form an alignment layer, the display substrate can make the alignment of the alignment layer formed by the rubbing consistent and uniform, thereby avoiding the occurrence of Rubbing Mura when the alignment layer is formed by the rubbing.
