    摘要: The invention relates to a sealant composition, and a liquid crystal display panel using the same. The sealant composition comprises an expansive monomer which can compensate for the volume shrinkage occurring during polymerization of traditional sealant compositions. The sealant composition of the invention can improve the alignment accuracy, enhance the bonding strength, and reduce the vernier key level of the panel, so that the problems such as lower alignment accuracy and bonding strength caused by the volume shrinkage during polymerization of the traditional sealant compositions can be solved.

    摘要: To provide a curable resin composition for forming a seal part, which is capable of easily forming a continuous seal part and which is capable of maintaining the shape of the seal part during a period of from immediately after the formation of an uncured seal part until a liquid material is supplied to a region enclosed by the seal part and the seal part is cured, and a laminate which has minimal defects and whereby a resin layer interposed between first and second plates can be made thick. One having a viscosity of from 500 to 3,000 Pa·s at 25° C. is used as the curable resin composition for forming a seal part to form an uncured seal part 12 enclosing the periphery of a liquid material (curable resin composition 14 for forming a resin layer) interposed between a first plate (display device 50) and a second plate (transparent plate 10).

    摘要: Disclosed is a sealant composition, a liquid crystal device and a method for preventing liquid crystal contamination using the sealant composition. The sealant composition consists of 20-30 parts by weight of an ultraviolet polymerizable double bond monomer, 15-20 parts by weight of a heat polymerization monomer, 5-20 parts by weight of a polymerizable oligomer, 0.1-5 parts by weight of a photoinitiator, 10-20 parts by weight of a heat curing agent and 0-20 parts by weight of a particulate additive, wherein said polymerizable oligomer is poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate or derivatives thereof. Through the reaction between the polymerizable oligomers and the polymer of the ultraviolet polymerizable double bond monomers to generate a reticular high molecular polymer, the anchoring effect of the polymer on the surrounding unreacted heat polymerization monomers is effectively enhanced, thereby reducing the contamination of the crystal liquid by the sealant.
