    Abstract: An example stent delivery system is disclosed. The example stent delivery system includes an outer shaft having a distal end region, an inner surface and a lumen extending therein. The delivery system also includes an inner shaft extending within the outer shaft lumen, the inner shaft having a stent receiving region disposed along a distal end region thereof. Additionally, the delivery system includes a stent disposed along the stent receiving region and a braided member positioned radially outward from an outer surface of the stent and radially inward from the inner surface of the outer shaft, the braided member being attached to an outer surface of the inner member proximal of the stent. Additionally, the delivery system includes a plurality of tether members coupled to the braided member, wherein longitudinal retraction of the outer shaft relative to the inner shaft exposes the stent from the braided member.

    Abstract: An illustrative stent includes an elongated tubular member comprising at least one strut or filament forming a tubular wall having a plurality of cells extending through a thickness of the tubular wall. The elongated tubular member may be configured to move between a radially collapsed configuration and a radially expanded configuration. A coating is disposed on the elongated tubular member and spanning the plurality of cells. The coating forms a pocket within at least some of the cells of the plurality of cells and extends radially inward of the tubular wall to define a void. In some instances, a partition or wall is positioned within at least some of the pockets and transects the void.

    Abstract: An illustrative stent may comprise an elongated tubular member having a longitudinal axis, the elongated tubular member comprising at least one knitted filament forming a plurality of twisted knit stitches with intermediate rung portions extending circumferentially between radially adjacent twisted knit stitches. Each twisted knit stitch may be interconnected with a longitudinally adjacent twisted knit stitch forming a series of linked stitches. The elongated tubular member may be configured to move between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration, wherein in the collapsed configuration the series of linked stitches form longitudinal columns and in the expanded configuration the series of linked stitches extend helically around the elongated tubular member.

The medical device includes an expandable scaffold including a first end region, a second end region opposite the first end region and an outer surface. The medical device also includes a covering disposed along the outer surface of the expandable scaffold, the covering having an outer surface. The medical device further includes a plurality of granular particles disposed along the covering. Additionally, the expandable scaffold is configured to shift from a collapsed state to an expanded state, the covering is configured to contact an inner surface of the body lumen in the expanded state and the granular particles are designed to prevent migration of the expandable scaffold upon implantation in the body lumen.

    Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for treating defects in anatomical structures are disclosed. A device may include a stent having a tubular member with a first end, a second end, and a lumen between the first end and the second end. A wire having a first end and a second end may form a plurality of annular rows between the first end and the second end, where the rows may define the lumen. The wire of the stent may define a plurality of turns in each row of the plurality of annular rows and may have no overlapping portions along the rows. A gap may extend between consecutive rows of the plurality of rows and a connecting segment may span across the gap to interconnect two rows of the plurality of rows. The connecting segment may be the only portion of the wire that spans across the gap.
