Abstract: An estimating device, including: a detecting section detecting electrical characteristics between a plurality of predetermined detection points at a flexible material, which is electrically conductive and which has electrical characteristics that vary in accordance with deformation, of a target object that has the flexible material; and an estimating section that inputs time-series electrical characteristics, which were detected by the detecting section, of an object of estimation to a learning model that is trained by using, as learning data, time-series electrical characteristics that vary in accordance with deformation of the flexible material, and deteriorated state information expressing a deteriorated state relating to deformation of the flexible material, such that the time-series electrical characteristics are inputs of the learning model and the learning model outputs the deteriorated state information, and the estimating section estimates deteriorated state information expressing a deteriorated state corresponding to inputted time-series electrical characteristics.

Abstract: An inference device detects, with a detection section, an electrical characteristic between plural predetermined detection points on a vehicle seat provided with a soft material that is conductive and that exhibits a change in an electrical characteristic according to a change in pressure imparted. An inference section employs a learning model to infer a posture state of an occupant of the vehicle seat from the electrical characteristic of the vehicle seat. The electrical characteristic when pressure has been imparted to the vehicle seat and the posture state information indicating the posture state of the occupant when imparting pressure to the vehicle seat are employed as training data for a learning model trained so as to be input with the electrical characteristic and output the posture state information, and trained so as to be input with the electrical characteristic and output the posture state of the occupant corresponding to the input electrical characteristic.

Abstract: Provided is an elastic member which is obtained by forming a resin coating layer on at least a part of the surface of a base that is formed of an elastic material, and which is characterized in that the resin coating layer is a coating film that contains 1.5-45 parts by mass of a low-friction powder per 100 parts by mass of a base resin and has a 100% modulus of 22-30 MPa. This elastic member has a resin coating layer that has a good balance between film formability and low friction, and is suitable as a sealing member for an opening part of a toner container that is provided on a toner cartridge of a printer, a copy machine or the like.
