    摘要: A submersible pump electrical motor has a bearing hub between adjacent rotor sections. The bearing hub has a hub outward facing sidewall and a hub inward facing hub sidewall through which the shaft extends. A collar having a collar inward facing sidewall is rigidly mounted to the hub outward facing sidewall. The collar has a collar outward facing sidewall spaced from stator sidewall by an annular clearance. A slit in the collar extends from the collar inward facing sidewall to the collar outward facing sidewall. An anti-rotation spring has a supporting portion inwardly biased against the hub outward facing sidewall and a locking portion protruding outward through the slit into engagement with the groove to prevent rotation of the hub and the collar.

    摘要: Systems and methods for reclaiming and remagnetizing permanent magnet motors such as may be used in electric submersible pumps. In one embodiment, a method includes removing a permanent magnet rotor assembly from a motor and heating the rotor to burn off the residual oil and evaporate water in between laminations of the rotor and on the rotor surface. The rotor should be heated to a temperature that is above a flashpoint of oil on the rotor and below a Curie temperature of a material of a set of permanent magnets in the rotor (e.g., at least 600° F. for at least 12 hours). The heating may partially or fully demagnetize the permanent magnets in the rotor. The exposed surfaces of the rotor are then cleaned and the permanent magnets in the rotor are remagnetized using a specialized magnetizing fixture.

    摘要: A pumping system is designed for deployment and retrieval through the production tubing in a live well intervention. The pumping system includes a pump driven by a motor, which may be an integrated motor or a separated motor in which the stator and rotor are separated by the production tubing. The pumping system can be provided power through a reinforced power cable that is capable of supporting the weight of some combination of the motor and pump, or through a standard power cable that is not designed to carry the weight of additional downhole components.
