Abstract:
Aspects of the disclosure relate to performing enhanced exception processing using cognitive automation tools. In some embodiments, a computing platform may receive interaction data identifying one or more actions performed by one or more users in resolving a plurality of exception items associated with an exception queue. Subsequently, the computing platform may train, using a learning engine, a machine learning model to resolve a first exception and a second exception of one or more exceptions based on the interaction data. Based on training the machine learning model, the computing platform may generate one or more configuration commands directing a processing module to implement the machine learning model to process additional exception items associated with the exception queue. The computing platform then may send the one or more configuration commands to the processing module.
Abstract:
Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for processing a set of information associated with a check image using one or more disposition parameters to determine an automated disposition of the check associated with the check image. The present invention is configured to receive a set of information associated with a check image; receive one or more disposition parameters associated with a financial institution; apply the one or more disposition parameters to the set of information associated with the check image; determine automated disposition of the check based on at least applying the one or more disposition parameters to the set of information associated with the check image; and execute the automated disposition of the check.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention include systems, methods, and computer-program products for a feedback loop for enhancing archive validation and retention parameter determination for documents. The system may generate or receive image documents. Utilizing image quality and data storage metrics the system may trigger the purging and/or retention of documents in image and/or paper form. Upon retention, the system may continually monitor the documents and store metadata associated with the use of the retained documents. Once the documents are purged, the system compiles historic data points associated with the image quality and data storage metrics. Furthermore, the system extracts the metadata associated with the monitoring of retained documents. These data points and metadata are reviewed to provide revisions in retention parameters for specific documents. A feedback loop directly communicates and integrates the revisions to the metric and criteria for instant integration.
Abstract:
Systems, method, apparatuses, and software are described for automatically detecting defects in financial transactions, automatically determining resolutions to the defects based on historical defect patterns, an interacting with customers to provide information and/or receive instructions regarding defects and how they should be resolved.
Abstract:
Apparatus for executing a method to determine whether or not a service request is eligible for straight through processing is provided. The apparatus may receive a service request from an online banking portal. The service request may include an adjustment value. The adjustment value may be a numerical difference between a first value of a check deposited in a customer account and a second value of a check entered into the online banking portal. The service request may also include a time of day during which the service request was requested and/or completed. The apparatus may determine if the adjustment value is less than a threshold value. If the adjustment value is less than the threshold value, the apparatus may transmit the service request to a straight through processing platform and to electronically display on the online banking portal a soft post notifying a user of a credit.
Abstract:
A message comprising information that identifies one or more physical financial documents for reimaging may be received. One or more records comprising the information that identifies the one or more physical financial documents for reimaging may be generated and stored. A message comprising information that identifies a plurality of physical financial documents contemporaneously received by a storage facility for physical financial documents may be received. At least one physical financial document of the plurality of physical financial documents contemporaneously received by the storage facility for physical financial documents that is identified by the one or more records comprising the information that identifies the one or more physical financial documents for reimaging may be identified from amongst the plurality of physical financial documents contemporaneously received by the storage facility for physical financial documents.
Abstract:
A system for performing secure maintenance on automated machines may include a maintenance management apparatus and an automated machine. The maintenance management apparatus is configured for scheduling the maintenance appointment for the automated machine, in response to scheduling the maintenance appointment and creating and communicating a maintenance security code to the automated machine. The automated machine is configured for receiving a request from a maintenance provider to initiate the maintenance appointment, validating the maintenance provider using the maintenance security code and providing access to a secure item storage unit, determining that the maintenance provider has completed the maintenance appointment, and communicating information associated with the maintenance appointment to the maintenance management apparatus and/or a computing device of the maintenance provider.

Upon retention, the system may continually monitor the documents and store metadata associated with the use of the retained documents. This monitoring may identify a period for purging the document, efficiently allowing for physical or server space availability.
