Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to cash handling devices that provide intelligent monitoring and management of cash cycles. A cash handling device having at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory may receive, from a mobile device, a request to process a pre-staged transaction. Subsequently, the cash handling device may generate and present a graphical identifier based on the mobile device requesting access to the cash handling device. Next, the cash handling device may verify that the mobile device is authorized to perform the pre-staged transaction based on the graphical identifier being scanned by the mobile device and cause a connection to be established between the cash handling device and the mobile device. Thereafter, the cash handling device may identify and process the pre-staged transaction associated with the mobile device. Then, the cash handling device may generate a notification indicating completed processing of the identified pre-staged transaction.

Abstract: A system for performing secure maintenance on automated machines may include a maintenance management apparatus and an automated machine. The maintenance management apparatus is configured for scheduling the maintenance appointment for the automated machine, in response to scheduling the maintenance appointment and creating and communicating a maintenance security code to the automated machine. The automated machine is configured for receiving a request from a maintenance provider to initiate the maintenance appointment, validating the maintenance provider using the maintenance security code and providing access to a secure item storage unit, determining that the maintenance provider has completed the maintenance appointment, and communicating information associated with the maintenance appointment to the maintenance management apparatus and/or a computing device of the maintenance provider.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include systems, methods, and computer-program products for archive validation and retention parameter determination for documents. The system may generate or receive image documents. Utilizing image quality and data storage metrics the system may trigger the purging and/or retention of documents in image and/or paper form. Furthermore, the system may identify a duration of storage, location of storage, and the like. Upon retention, the system may continually monitor the documents and store metadata associated with the use of the retained documents. This monitoring may identify a period for purging the document, efficiently allowing for physical or server space availability.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to monitoring an automatic teller machine (ATM) network and determining anomalous fault behavior in the ATM network. A system may determine historical fault volumes in the ATM network and generate a time-series model of the fault volumes. The system may predict future fault volumes based on the generated time-series model. Based on the predicted future fault volumes and actual future fault volumes, the system may determine anomalous fault behavior and perform a remedial action associated with the ATM fault code determined from anomalous observed fault volumes.

Abstract: Enhanced authentication at resource event apparatuses of a card device and, in some instances, the user of the card device. Card device-specific Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are generated and, in some instance, user credential-specific NFTs are generated. The NFTs are stored within a distributed ledger of a distributed trust computing network, which provides verification as the uniqueness and authenticity of the NFTs. Once a resource event is initiated at a resource event apparatus, card device-related information and, in some instance, user credential-related information is received, and the information is compared to the corresponding NFT as a means of authenticating the card device and, in some instances, the card device and the linked user of the card device. As a result, the use of imitation card devices is prevented and, in some instances, the identity of the user of the card device is authenticated and deemed to be linked to the card device.

Abstract: Contactless dispensing of objects from object-dispensing machines. A digital token is wirelessly communicated to the machine via short-range wireless communication, such as Near Field Communication (NFC) or the like. In response, a push notification is communicated to the user's wireless device, which includes an activatable link for launching a mobile application. In response to launching the mobile application and authenticating the user, the mobile application provides object-dispensing machine-like user interfaces that are configured to allow the user to input object requesting parameters and submit a request for objects to be dispensed from the object-dispensing machine. The request is communicated to the object-dispensing machines (or corresponding backend processing systems) and, once the request is verified, the object-dispensing machine dispenses the requested objects.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include systems, methods, and computer-program products for a feedback loop for enhancing archive validation and retention parameter determination for documents. The system may generate or receive image documents. Utilizing image quality and data storage metrics the system may trigger the purging and/or retention of documents in image and/or paper form. Upon retention, the system may continually monitor the documents and store metadata associated with the use of the retained documents. Once the documents are purged, the system compiles historic data points associated with the image quality and data storage metrics. Furthermore, the system extracts the metadata associated with the monitoring of retained documents. These data points and metadata are reviewed to provide revisions in retention parameters for specific documents. A feedback loop directly communicates and integrates the revisions to the metric and criteria for instant integration.
