摘要: Content servers are directed to send messages to network nodes which are used to obtain IP addresses and to receive responses from the network nodes. The responses provide network service information. The content servers collect data based on the responses and feed the data to a routing server. Based on the data fed to the routing server, respective choices of content servers are selected and provided to the network nodes to respond to clients requesting content server addresses from the network nodes.

摘要: The present invention may be used for determining a topology of a network in the presence of network address translation. From an active client behind a translating device, communications are initiated that effect the network address translation. The communications are monitored beyond the translating device to infer partitioning of servers into equivalence sets relative to the network topology induced by the network address translation. Active clients behind the translating device may include a respective actual sending address in a message sent to a server beyond the translating device. The server beyond the translating device distinguishes between communications affected by and not affected by network address translation, which may include comparing an apparent source address of a message against an actual address provided in the message by the active client behind the translation device. The external server may also distinguish between active and passive client messages. The server server may cause a message to a passive client to be redirected to an active client; the active client, in turn, communicates to the external server. The external server stores addresses of devices in translated address sets, which may be maintained in a database and managed in a database manager.

摘要: Server selection is optimized using randomness, feedback, and fanout. A central server maintains a vector of server selection probabilities and provides a subset of candidate servers from the vector for the client in response to receiving from a client a request for a server address to provide substantive service. An interrogating node (i.e., the client or DNS proxy) probes the candidate servers and selects a best server based on at least one criterion. The client accesses the selected server for the substantive data, and the selected server updates a counter used to keep track of the number of times the server is selected. The servers feedback the number of times selected to the central server, which, in turn, updates weightings in the vector of server selection probabilities.

摘要: A filter assembly for use in sidestream gas sampling assembly. The filter assembly of the present invention includes a hydrophilic The filter further includes a hydrophobic member positioned downstream of the hydrophilic liner. The hydrophobic disk acts as a second line of defense against moisture reaching the sensing mechanism member that is constructed from a porous material and is situated such that gas entering the filter assembly passes through at least a portion the hydrophilic member. In a further embodiment, the filter includes a hydrophobic member positioned downstream of the hydrophilic member. The hydrophobic member acts as a second line of defense against moisture reaching the sensing mechanism in the gas sampling assembly.

摘要: A system and method for vacuum bag assembly fabrication via the vacuum bag method which reduces the amount of trapped air. The inventive system includes a chamber adapted to contain a vacuum bag and first and second evacuating mechanisms. The first evacuating mechanism serves to evacuate the bag and vent to atmosphere. The second evacuating mechanism serves to evacuate and vent the chamber to atmosphere. Thus, generally, the inventive method includes the steps of placing a vacuum bag lay up in an air tight chamber; and evacuating the vacuum bag lay up and the air tight chamber at the same time. In practice, the assembly would consist of at least two components and a heat curable composition. The components can be parts to be bonded together or layers of cloth to be made into a laminate. In this case, the heat curable composition would be a catalyzed adhesive or resin.

摘要: An infrared imaging system used for providing images from a plurality of views. The multiple view infrared imaging system includes a plurality of lens and infrared focal plane array (FPA) pairings, wherein each pairing can be used to provide an image and/or sample scene data of a distinct view. A single set of processing circuitry and a single set of one or more output elements may be utilized to provide such images. A multi-input switch may be utilized in combination with the single set of processing circuitry and output elements to provide images from any of the lens and FPA pairings based on the positioning of the switch.
