    摘要: A method of interface communication between entities in soft switch system in NGN, and a method and apparatus for Gateway Control Protocol (GCP) message transmission are disclosed, so that H.248 messages can be transmitted between Media Gateway Controller and Media Gateway over MTP3B/ATM, hence full advantages of resources are taken in existing optical fiber networks and E1/T1 networks, so as to improve the networking flexibility and reduce the cost. The internal data transmission mechanism between MTP3B protocol layer and H.248 protocol layer is established via an M3H adaptation layer; load sharing between H.248 processing modules is enabled by establishing mapping between H.248 links and MTP3B signaling points; the adaptation relationship between MTP3B layer and H.248 layer is implemented by configuring and maintaining logic relationship between table of LinkSets, H.248-MTP3B mapping table, and table of H.248 processing modules, thus implementing the mechanism of bearing H.248 messages over MTP3B.

The method and the XDSL single service board provided by embodiments of the present invention need not manually set Media Access Control (MAC) address or maximum MAC address learning number for each XDSL port, which cuts down the maintenance workload, and on the other hand, reduces the loss of important protocol packets and lowers the load of the CPU.

    摘要: A texture-based text localization system proceeds directly in the compressed domain for DCT compressed JPEG images or MPEG videos. The DCT coefficient values in JPEG images and MPEG videos, which capture the directionality and periodicity of local image blocks, are used as texture feature measures to classify text areas. Each unit block in the compressed images is classified as either text or nontext. In addition, post-processing in both the compressed domain and the reconstructed candidate text areas can be used to refine the results. For video frames that contain text, the displacement of text between two consecutive frames is estimated which gives the velocity of the moving text. This temporal displacement information is also used to further refine the localization results. The text is then processed to provide content or speech output.
