An image compensation apparatus and a method thereof and a field sequential color liquid crystal display (FSC-LCD) using the same are provided. The method includes performing a motion estimation to a first color image information so as to obtain a motion vector; performing a color decomposition to the first color image information so as to obtain a first sub-color-field and a residual color image information; performing a motion compensation to the residual color image information according to the motion vector, so as to obtain a second, a third and a fourth sub-color-fields; and separating a white component from the second, the third and the fourth sub-color-fields into the first sub-color-field, so as to make a color component corresponding to one of the second, the third and the fourth sub-color-fields to be zero, and accordingly output and provide a second color image information to the FSC-LCD to display frame(s).

A photo element includes a capacitor, a switch thin film transistor (TFT), a charge thin film transistor, and a photo thin film transistor. A voltage is charged to the capacitor through the charge TFT, and the output voltage of the capacitor is read through the readout line. The photo-induced current will affect the output voltage of the capacitor; therefore it is employed to determine whether the photo element is touched. Later, a reverse-biased voltage is applied to the photo TFT, such that the threshold voltage and sensitivity of the photo TFT can be maintained.

A compensation circuit of organic light emitting diode comprising a first capacitor, a second capacitor, a stabilizer unit, a third transistor, an organic light emitting diode and a driver unit. The stabilizer unit comprises a first transistor, a second transistor and a photodiode. The driver unit comprises a fourth transistor, a fifth transistor and a sixth transistor. The fifth transistor is used for driving the organic light emitting diode. The first transistor, the second transistor, the third transistor, the fourth transistor and the sixth transistor are used as switches. The first capacitor is used as a compensation capacitor. The second capacitor is used for storing a data voltage. By controlling a voltage of a node in the circuit, the current of the organic light emitting diode can be increased to maintain a stable brightness of the organic light emitting diode.

The present invention builds a metal electrode that is controlled by the common electrode in each pixel cell. During operation, a voltage is first applied to this metal electrode to transform the liquid crystal molecule over this metal electrode from the splay state into the bend state. Next, a voltage is applied to the pixel electrode to transform the liquid crystal molecule in the whole pixel region from the splay state into the bend state. Two different voltage field also can be respectively applied to the common electrode and the pixel electrode.

A liquid crystal display device includes a first polarization plate, a first birefringent film atop the first polarization plate, an optically compensated bend mode (OCB-mode) cell atop the first birefringent film, a refractive film atop the OCB-mode cell, a second birefringent film atop the refractive film, and a second polarization plate atop the second birefringent film. With this structure, any phase retardation of polarized light occurred during the propagation of the polarized light from the first polarization plate to the second polarization plate is compensated by the first birefringent film, the refractive film, and the second birefringent film and a substantially cross-shaped radiation pattern of full viewing angle is obtained in an actual measurement at the light outgoing surface of the liquid crystal display device, proving the liquid crystal display device has effectively improved the problem of restricted viewing angle and provides good optical performance.
