    摘要: Apparatus is disclosed for venting a fuel tank including a canister containing an absorbent for fuel fumes, a sensor for detecting the filling of the fuel tank and emitting a signal based thereon, a first connection line for connecting the canister with the fuel tank and having a sufficient size to permit the free flow of gases from the fuel tank during filling of the fuel tank, the first connection line including a first valve operable between an open position and a closed position, the first valve normally being in the closed position and being actuatable into the open position by the signal thereby permitting the free flow of gas from the fuel tank through the first connection line during filling, a second connection line for connecting the canister with the fuel tank and connected to the first connection line between the first valve and the canister, the second connection line including a second valve including at least one restrictor for substantially limiting the flow of gases therethrough as compared to the first connection line when the first valve is in its open position, and a condenser for condensing fuel fumes passing through the second connection line such that the condensed fuel can return to the fuel tank.

    摘要: The invention concerns a device in fuel tanks, preferably for vehicles, said tanks being provided with a mouth socket to which a filler tube is connected so as to have its one end portion projecting into the tank. Between the mouth socket and the filler tube a seal is provided, the latter being formed with a portion grippingly enclosing the mouth edge of the socket and defining, together with the filler tube, an intermediate space allowing oscillation of the filler tube relatively to the socket. A washer is pressed against the filler tube and is formed with a bent-over portion grippingly engaging said portion of the seal. A reinforcement sleeve is positioned inside the filler tube and presses against the inner face of the filler tube. A clamp-joint sleeve is fitted around the mouth socket, enclosing portion of the seal and the washer.

The valve closing member (8 ) is coordinated with a movably mounted plunger element (17), which is disposed at a certain liquid flow through the inlet (3) to lift the valve closing member to its closed position. The plunger element (17) forms a seat (16) on which rests a ball (15), on which ball (15) the valve closing member (8) rests.     摘要: The disclosures relates to a tube coupling (10) for a tube (11) having a body (12) with open ended throughway (13) to receive the tube and a collet (21) in the open end of the throughway having resilient arms (23) engaging a tapered cam surface (20) in the body to clamp the ends of the arms against a tube extending through the collet into the body to lock a tube in the body.The body has a cylindrical outer surface and a cylindrical cover (30) encircles and is slidable along the body. One end of the cover has an end wall (32) extending across the end of the body opposite the open end of the throughway with an aperture (33) through which the tube extends. The other end of the cover has an internal annular projection (35) which snaps over the end of the cylindrical body to retain the cover on the body while permitting the cover to slide linearly along the body. The end wall of the cover is engagable with the collet where it projects from the open end of the throughway and by pressing the end wall of the cover towards the end of the coupling body, the collet is depressed into the body to hold the resilient arms away from the tapered cam surface in the coupling body and permit the tube (11) to be withdrawn. The arrangement is particularly useful for relatively small couplings utilized in confined spaces where manual depression of the projecting part of the collet from the end of the coupling body would be difficult.
