摘要: A process for the preparation of hydrocarbon products and for the generation of power that includes the steps of (a) providing a synthesis gas having a hydrogen to carbon monoxide ratio of between 0.1 and 1; (b) contacting the synthesis gas with one or more catalysts which together catalyse a reaction of hydrogen and carbon monoxide to oxygenates comprising methanol and dimethyl ether with a dimethyl ether to methanol ratio of higher than 2 and a carbon dioxide content of above 20 mole %; (c) contacting the carbon dioxide containing oxygenate mixture at an inlet temperature of between 240° and 4000° C. with a catalyst being active in the conversion of oxygenate to higher hydrocarbons and a tail gas being rich in carbon dioxide; (d) combusting the carbon dioxide rich tail gas in a gas turbine combustion chamber to flue gas; and (e) expanding the flue gas stream through a gas turbine for the generation of power.

摘要: A process for the preparation of acetic acid by catalytic conversion of a synthesis gas being rich in hydrogen and carbon monoxide, comprising steps of: (i) introducing a stream of the synthesis gas into a first reaction step at a predetermined pressure and temperature and reacting the synthesis gas in the presence of a catalyst being active in formation of methanol and dehydration of methanol, so as to obtain a gaseous process phase containing methanol, dimethyl ether, and water; (ii) cooling the gaseous process phase of step (i) and obtaining a liquid phase with the methanol, dimethyl ether and water and a gaseous phase comprising carbon dioxide and residual amounts of dimethyl ether; (iii) introducing the liquid phase formed in step (ii) into a second reaction step at a predetermined pressure and temperature and adding a predetermined amount of carbon monoxide; and (iv) carbonylating methanol and dimethyl ether in the liquid phase with carbon monoxide by contact with a catalyst being active in the carbonylation of alcohols and ethers with carbon monoxide; and (v) recovering from effluent of step (iv) a product stream mainly consisting of the acetic acid product.

摘要: A process for the preparation of hydrocarbon products including the steps of (a) providing a stream containing oxygenates; (b) mixing the stream with a recycle stream to form a gasoline feed stream; (c) contacting the gasoline feed stream with one or more gasoline synthesis catalysts to obtain an effluent stream with higher hydrocarbons boiling in the gasoline range; (d) withdrawing from step (c) the effluent stream; and (e) splitting a part of the effluent stream to form the recycle stream which is optionally further reduced in content of water or enriched in hydrogen, then pressurized and recycled to step (b).
