    摘要: A tool for compressing a connector onto a coaxial cable includes a pair of gates, a plunger for compressing the connector against the gates and onto the coaxial cable, and an actuator in communication with the gates and the plunger. When the actuator is moved from a first position to a second position, it causes the gates to move from an open to a closed position in which they retain the coaxial cable and brace the connector, and the plunger moves from a first position to a second position in which it engages the connector to compress the connector against the gates and onto the coaxial cable. When the actuator is moved back to its first position, the gates move to their open position thereby releasing the coaxial cable and the plunger moves to its first position thereby disengaging from the connector.

The wrench portion has a leading end, a trailing end, and a hollow main body located between the leading end and the trailing end. The main body of the wrench portion internally has a hexagonally shaped portion corresponding to a shaped outer surface of a rotatable connecting ring of the male F connector. The grip portion has a rear end and a front end connected to the trailing end of the wrench portion, and has a plurality of circumferentially spaced externally convex sections, each of which has a radially inward key formed near the rear end thereof. The jumper sleeve provides greater mechanical advantage to produce sufficient torsion force, enabling easy installation and removal of the male F connector.

    摘要: A coaxial cable connector includes a standard and a mini adapter. The standard adapter includes coaxial hollow inner and outer sleeves. The mini adapter includes an inner member having a finger clamp; and a cylindrical housing having a first and a second tubular end portion. The first tubular end portion is externally formed of elastic hooking portions corresponding to the finger clamp in the mini adapter, and a plurality of long slots behind the elastic hooking portion. A contact spring is provided in the mini adapter with contact strips thereof received in the long slots. When the mini adapter is fully inserted into the standard adapter, the inner sleeve compresses the elastic hooking portions to thereby force the finger clamp to engage with a central conductor of the coaxial cable, and pushes the contact strips to mechanically and electrically engage with a foil layer of the coaxial cable.

The conductive insert can include an annular flange at least partially surrounded by the bore. The washer can be positioned between the second end portion of the coupling nut and the annular flange, and can be configured to press against at least one of the annular flange and the second end portion of the coupling nut to restrict rotation between the coaxial cable connectors.

    摘要: A compression tool for connecting end connectors to coaxial cable ends includes a die for supporting a cable thereon, a slider axially spaced from the die for compressing against an end connector, which is fitted around but not yet crimped onto the cable end, and a handle connected to the slider via an inner link. A push button on the handle can be selectively inserted in a front or a rear locating hole provided on the inner link. When the handle is pivotally turned downward, the push button forces the inner link forward while the inner link is pivotally turned about the push button, so that the slider connected to the inner link is pushed forward toward the die. By inserting the push button in the front or the rear locating hole, the slider can be pushed forward by a shorter or a longer length, respectively.

    摘要: A quick connector for securing a coaxial cable to an electronic device (cable splitter, VCR, monitor, etc.) is formed integrally with the device. The connector has a cylindrical housing extending from the structure of the electronic device, with a generally tubular inner body and collar permanently and immovably affixed within the housing. The only movable component is a retainer having a series of fingers which selectively grip a corresponding circumferential groove inside the collar. A coaxial cable is trimmed to expose the center conductor, a portion of the outer cover is removed, and the shielding is folded back. The cable is inserted into the connector, with the barbed end of the inner body penetrating between the cable dielectric and shielding. The cable and retainer are then withdrawn slightly to force the retainer fingers against the cable outer cover and shielding to capture them between the retainer fingers and inner body.
