摘要:
Selecting a profile for an interface of a network device includes accessing profile sequences, where each profile sequence corresponds to an interface. Each profile sequence includes profiles that provide parameters for communicating data. The following are repeated for a profile sequence for an interface until a link satisfies a sequence criterion or until a last profile of the profile sequence is reached to select a profile for the interface. A current profile is accessed, and a link for the interface is initiated according to the current profile. Whether the link for the interface satisfies the sequence criterion is determined. A next profile of the profile sequence is accessed if the link does not satisfy the sequence criterion, and the current profile is selected if the link satisfies the sequence criterion. Data is communicated according to the selected profile.

A solar energy collecting system comprises a manifold defining a closed fluid passage between a condensation point and a heating point. The manifold includes a plurality of heat exchange members configured to be in heat exchange relationship with the fluid passage at the heating point, and a heat sink at the condensation point. A plurality of solar energy collector members extend from and operably connect to the heat exchange members of the manifold. The solar energy collector members collect solar energy and transform it into heat energy. Heat energy is transferred from the solar energy collector members to the heat exchange members and to a fluid in the passage in the manifold at the heating point so as to heat the fluid into a vapor. The fluid is circulated in heat exchange relationship to the condensation point where heat energy is transferred to the heat sink so as to cool the fluid to a liquid. The fluid repeatedly cycles between a vaporized state at the heat exchange members and a liquefied state at the condensation point.

Biomarkers that correlate with progression to neoplasia in human papillomavirus (HPV) induced cancer, for example cervical cancer have been identified. These biomarkers can be used to diagnosis or assist in the diagnosis of HPV-induced cancer. They can also be used to increase the positive predictive value of current screening modalities. In addition, they can provide insights into the biology of HPV-induced cancer and thus provide leads for the development of nonsurgical therapies. Exemplary biomarkers include cornulin, PA28 β, DJ-1, actin, transthyretin, HSPB1, CV intracellular channel 1, cytokeratin 8, transferrin, Hsρβ6 (HSP20), aflatoxin reductase, α2 type I collagen, creatine kinase B, cytokeratin 13 GST π, PA28 α, Manganese SOD, lamin A/C, serpin B1 (elastase inhibitor), serpin B3 (SCAA1), cytokeratin 10, cytokeratin 6A, and trp-tRNA synthetase. Preferred biomarkers for HPV-induced cancer include cornulin, DJ-1, PA28 α, and PA28 β, trp-tRNA synthetase, HSPβ6, creatine kinase B, aflatoxin reductase, GST π, transthyretin, transferrin, α2-type 1 collagen, and combinations thereof.

Devices for loading a collapsible implant onto a delivery catheter. In one aspect, a loading device comprises an outer tubular structure and an inner tubular structure. The outer tubular structure comprises a narrowing passage configured to receive a catheter at one end and a collapsible implant at another end. The inner tubular structure is configured to move slidably and co-axially within the outer tubular structure. The inner tubular structure comprises a carrier pin configured to move within the narrowing passage as the inner tubular structure slides into the outer tubular structure. The sliding of the inner tubular structure into the outer tubular structure causes an implant mounted on the carrier pin to collapse as the implant moves through the narrowing passage and into the distal end of a catheter. In an optional aspect, the outer tubular structure further comprises a grasper to stabilize the catheter for receipt of the collapsible implant, and the internal diameter of the inner tubular structure varies to cause the grasper to first contract and stabilize the catheter, and then expand and release the catheter, as the grasper moves into the inner tubular structure.

A removal tool for an implanted device, including pulmonary stents, occlusive devices, valved devices, and flow-restrictive devices, is provided. The removal tool includes an elongate tube having a central passage, a slideable inner member within the passage, and a coupling member disposed on the distal end of the inner member. The coupling member of the removal tool includes a distal tip configured to pierce a membrane of the implanted device. The coupling member also includes a coil or a hook configured to engage a support element of the implanted device. A method of removing implanted devices is also provided. A removal tool is placed adjacent to the device, the distal end of the tool is moved to pierce its membrane, a portion of the tool engages the support member, and the distal end of the tool is retracted along with the implanted device.

A device for centering a work piece with respect to a centerline of a tool includes a radially-stationary component rigidly secured with respect to the tool such that the radially-stationary component and the tool are concentric. A biasing mechanism is biased away from the radially-stationary component to apply substantially equally-distributed radial force at a periphery of the work piece to thereby center the work piece with respect to the tool. A method of broaching a work piece having an inner and an outer diameter includes machining the outer diameter and then applying circumferentially-distributed radial force to the inner diameter or the outer diameter to thereby center the work piece with respect to a broach tool. After the applying step, the method includes broaching the inner diameter of the work piece using the broach tool.

In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a resolver system has at least one resolver and at least one amplifier in electrical communication with each resolver. A reference circuit is in electrical communication with the amplifiers. The reference circuit provides reference signals to the amplifiers. A non-linearity calibration and compensation circuit in communication with each amplifier uses the amplified reference signals to provide scale factors, so as to enhance a precision of the resolver system.
