The pathway comprises at least three arms each having a proximal and a distal end, the proximal ends being joined together or each connected to at least one other of the at least three arms, and the distal ends being separate from each other and configured as terminals. The modules may be configured as chip antennas. A plurality of antenna modules can connected together in order to create antenna systems with particular desired characteristics.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an antenna structure comprising a dielectric pellet and a dielectric substrate with upper and lower surfaces and at least one groundplane, wherein the dielectric pellet is elevated above the upper surface of the dielectric substrate such that the dielectric pellet does not directly contact the dielectric substrate or the groundplane, and wherein the dielectric pellet is provided with a conductive direct feed structure. A radiating antenna component is additionally provided and arranged so as to be excited by the dielectric pellet. Elevating the dielectric antenna component so that it does not directly contact the groundplane or the dielectric substrate significantly improves bandwidth of the antenna as a whole.

    摘要: There is disclosed a dielectric resonator antenna adapted to resonate in an EH11δ resonance mode, and also a method for the manufacture thereof. The desired resonance mode is achieved by careful positioning of a dielectric resonator (2) on a grounded substrate (1), the resonator (2) being fed by way of a microstrip feed line (9) and a slot (6) in the grounded substrate (1). Because the EH11δ resonance mode has nulls in a direction of longitudinal extension of the dielectric resonator (2), a plurality of antenna can be placed end-to-end so as to form an array with reduced coupling between adjacent antennas and with vertical polarisation, which is desirable for mobile communications applications.

    摘要: There is disclosed an antenna device including a dielectric substrate having a first, upper surface and a second, lower surface, a conductive groundplane on the second surface or located between the first and second surfaces. At least two conductive feedlines are formed on the first surface and extend from feed points to predetermined radiating points at edge or corner parts of the first surface. The groundplane does not extend under the radiating points. The groundplane is configured as to extend between the radiating points and the feedlines are widened at the radiating points and/or are provided with discrete dielectric elements at the radiating points. The antenna device provides broadband performance and good diversity within a small space.
