摘要: A modular refrigeration unit for use in a refrigeration cabinet has a condenser assembly, an evaporator assembly, and a bulkhead assembly positioned between the condenser assembly and the evaporator assembly. The refrigeration cabinet includes a condenser chamber and an insulated main chamber and mating surfaces defining an opening there between. The modular refrigeration unit includes a gasket assembly coupled to a periphery of the bulkhead assembly. The gasket assembly includes one vane mounted on a thermal breaker and engageable with the mating surfaces to form a substantially air-tight seal between the condenser chamber and the main chamber. The modular refrigeration unit is adapted for movement substantially transverse to the bulkhead assembly to engage the vane with the mating surfaces to form the substantially air-tight seal.

The refrigeration cabinet includes a condenser chamber adapted for receiving the condenser assembly. The condenser chamber has an insulated wall portion with a mating surface thereon. The refrigeration cabinet also has an insulated main chamber, in which air is cooled by the evaporator assembly. The bulkhead assembly is engageable with the mating surface to form a substantially air-tight seal between the condenser chamber and the main chamber.

摘要: Computer games deployed over communications networks such as the Internet are arranged with graphics rendering services to effect a real-time, automated fast rendering facility responsive to requests generated in view of game execution state. High-performance graphics authoring tools are used to produce graphics elements in agreement with a particular game design and scenario specification ‘on-the-fly’. These graphics are uploaded and stored in a database having a cooperating prescribed schema. A media player executing game logic is coupled to a render manager whereby render requests are passed thereto. The render manager forms scene files to be processed at a rendering application and finally to an assembler which converts all rendered graphics to a form usable at the media player. In this way, very high-quality real-time automated graphics generation is provided for bandwidth and memory limited platforms such as user workstations coupled to the Internet.

摘要: The present invention provides methods and apparatus for soil stabilization. First, a void is formed in the compromised soil strata. Then, an expandable member containing expandable materials is placed into the void. As the material expands to fill the void, the surrounding soil is compressed. This in situ compression if the soil increases the load bearing capacity and compressive strength of the soil. Additionally, the present invention provides a method for isolating the injected materials from the environment at the injection and/or polymerization point.

摘要: An accessory for improved comfort and security of grasping of a handheld electronic device is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, the accessory comprises TYVEK® material, or paper-like material made from synthetic fibers that has significant strength properties and repels water. The paper-like material is rolled to form a first loop that is configured to receive an index finger of a user. Also in a preferred embodiment, a second loop is formed to receive a middle finger. The accessory makes holding the electronic device easier and further a user has more freedom to operate the device with a thumb without losing secure grasp of the device. In yet a separate embodiment, the invention may be incorporated into an exterior protective case of the device.

摘要: An intelligent power management system that includes a circuit breaker containing a PLC module that spans open contacts of the circuit breaker to provide a communication path for PLC messages between the line and load sides of the circuit when the contacts are open. The contacts are motorized to permit remote operation through PLC messaging. Coupled to the PLC module is a controller, which controls the opening and closing of the motorized contacts under user control or via an adaptive load management algorithm that reduces peak power consumption and adapts a set of loads to changed power supply conditions. The controller can also dynamically alter operational current and fault threshold levels on a real-time basis based upon circuit requirements or environmental conditions. The algorithm runs a state machine and also manages loads in a limited power source environment such as when loads are powered by a generator.
