    摘要: Devices and systems for insulating integrated circuits from ultraviolet (“UV”) light are described. The device includes a conductive feature, a first and second UV blocking layer, a first and second insulating laver, and a conductive structure. The first insulating layer overlays the first UV blocking layer. A via opening extends through the first insulating layer and the first UV blocking layer. The second UV blocking layer overlays the first insulating laver. The second insulating layer overlays the second UV blocking layer. An interconnect trench is defined in the second insulating layer and second UV blocking layer. The conductive structure is electrically connected to the conductive feature and extends into the via opening and along the interconnect trench.

    摘要: An electronic device can include a conductive feature and an ultraviolet (“UV”) blocking layer overlying the conductive feature. The electronic device can also include an insulating layer overlying the UV blocking layer. The electronic device can further include a conductive structure extending into an opening within the insulating layer, wherein the conductive structure is electrically connected to the conductive feature. In one aspect, the UV blocking layer lies within 90 nm of the conductive structure. The insulating layer can be at least 4 times thicker than the UV blocking layer. In another aspect, a method can be used in forming the electronic device. In still a further aspect, a system can include the electronic device, a processor, and a display, wherein the processor is electrically coupled to the electronic device and the display.

    摘要: A metal strip casting apparatus and a method of casting continuous metal strip includes assembling a pair of counter-rotatable casting rolls having casting surfaces positioned laterally forming a nip between for casting, and delivering molten metal through a delivery nozzle disposed above the nip capable to form a casting pool supported on the casting rolls. The delivery nozzle comprises segments each having elongate nozzle body with longitudinally extending side walls, end walls and a bottom part to form an inner trough, a nozzle insert disposed above bottom portions of the inner trough of each segment and supported relative to the nozzle body through which incoming molten metal may be delivered to the inner trough of each segment of the delivery nozzle, and the elongate nozzle body of each segment having passageways in fluid communication with the inner trough and outlet openings capable of discharging molten metal from the nozzle body outwardly into the casting pool.

    摘要: An automotive engine oil pump assembly having first and second pump mechanisms contained within a common housing. A shaft rotatably supported in the housing drives the pump mechanisms in a conventional manner. The pump mechanisms are offset in phase to reduce flow pulsations through the housing and limit pump noise and vibration. The first pump mechanism communicates with a common inlet and first outlet of the housing. The second pump mechanism communicates with the common inlet and second outlet of the housing. A common reservoir connected to inlets of the first and second oil pump mechanisms provides a supplemental oil source to balance oil pressures at the pump inlets to prevent pump cavitation and further reduce pump noise and vibration.
