Abstract: A torque sleeve for a connector includes a slip ring, a torque ring, a torque spring, and an outer shell. The slip ring includes at least one axial movement inhibiting structure, and a plurality of first teeth having a first sawtooth pattern disposed in an axial direction of the torque sleeve. The torque ring includes at least one radial movement inhibiting structure, and a plurality of second teeth having a second sawtooth pattern disposed in an axial direction of the torque sleeve facing the plurality of first teeth. The torque spring is configured to apply a spring force against the torque ring to encourage movement of the torque ring toward the slip ring. The outer shell is configured to house the slip ring, the torque ring, and the torque spring within the torque sleeve.

Abstract: A scheduling unit is provided for managing upstream message allocation in a communication network. The scheduling unit includes a processor configured to determine (i) a number of channels communicating in one direction stream of the communication network, and (ii) a MAP interval duration of the communication network. The scheduling unit further includes a media access control (MAC) domain configured to (i) calculate a staggered allocation start time for each separate channel of the number of channels, and (ii) assign a different allocation start time, within the MAP interval duration, to each separate channel.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices disclosed herein contemplate client updates to traffic filter tables that control delivery of network traffic from an access point to the client over a multi channel wireless network. The client may update the traffic filter table whenever: (i) an application on the client initiates the request; (ii) an application matching a secondary channel requirement in a look-up table is opened or closed; (iii) data characteristics matching the secondary channel requirement in the look-up table are detected or removed; (iv) data usage of the client meets or exceeds a predetermined threshold; (v) data usage of the client falls below a predetermined threshold; and/or (vi) a specified period of time has passed.

Abstract: Systems and methods implement multi-channel communication by remapping Ethernet frames. An Ethernet frame is captured leaving a first bridge of an Ethernet switch. A destination address of the Ethernet frame is matched to a remap rule and to a filter defined for the remap rule. The destination address of the Ethernet frame is updated based upon the remap rule, and the Ethernet frame is output to an Ethernet port corresponding to the updated destination address of the Ethernet frame. The remap rule and the filter allow the Ethernet switch to route traffic at an OSI model layer-4 level.
