Abstract: An X-ray CT apparatus according to the embodiment executes an imaging according to an imaging protocol including one or more image elements corresponding to an imaging type. The X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray source, an X-ray detector and processing circuitry. The X-ray source radiates an X-ray. The X-ray detector detects the X-ray. The processing circuitry merges, when first and second imaging protocols are set, first and second imaging elements, respectively included in the first and second imaging protocols, corresponding to same imaging type into a single third imaging element, thereby generating a third imaging protocol including the third imaging element.

Abstract: A medical image processing device includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry sets a first energy bin at a k-absorption edge of a specific substance and sets a second energy bin and a third energy bin on both sides of the first energy bin. The processing circuitry generates a first medical image and a second medical image in which the specific substance is more emphasized using data of the energy bins. The processing circuitry outputs the medical images via an output interface. The processing circuitry sets a weighting for the data in the first energy bin when the second medical image is generated to be less than a weighting for the data in the second energy bin when the second medical image is generated and to be less than a weighting for the data in the first energy bin when the first medical image is generated.

The processing circuitry estimates a tissue characteristic of a target region, based on a spatial distribution of the drugs rendered on the one or the plurality of medical images. The processing circuitry displays the estimated tissue characteristic.

Abstract: A medical image processing apparatus includes processing circuitry that obtains 1st projection data of a 1st region with 1st dynamic data and 2nd projection data of a 2nd region with 2nd dynamic data; when the 1st and 2nd dynamic data exceed a threshold and match in magnitude of motion, extracts, from the 1st and 2nd projection dataset for an angular range at a time interval or for the magnitude, a 1st projection dataset and 2nd projection dataset, respectively; when the 1st and 2nd dynamic data exceed the threshold and differ in the magnitude, extracts the 1st projection dataset from the 1st projection data for the magnitude, and extracts the 2nd projection dataset for the same magnitude from the 2nd projection data; reconstructs 1st and 2nd volume data based on the 1st and 2nd projection datasets, respectively; and generates volume data concatenating the 1st and 2nd volume data.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a medical device operation method includes a monitoring step and an application step. In the monitoring step, a monitoring apparatus executes first CT imaging on a treatment target person into which a first drug particle with a suppressed onset of a treatment effect is introduced, and monitors an accumulation of the first drug particles in a tissue, based on spectral information acquired by the first CT imaging. In the application step, an application apparatus applies an action for exerting the treatment effect of the first drug particle to the first drug particle accumulating in the tissue, by using as a trigger an event that the accumulation of the first drug particles in the tissue satisfies an objective condition.
