Abstract:
A static charge eliminator includes an abutment member which abuts on a print target medium so as to eliminate static charge on a lower flow side than a position where the print target medium separates from and comes in contact with a predetermined roller on a conveyance path of the print target medium, and a supporting member which supports the abutment member such that the abutment member rotates around a rotation axis of the roller, in which the supporting member rotates while following a change in a pressing force from the print target medium via the abutment member which occurs when a winding angle using the position where the print target medium separates from and comes in contact with the roller as a reference point is changed in accordance with a winding amount of the print target medium.
Abstract:
In a front/back reversing unit, a base metal sheet having rollers attached thereon is engaged with a rotation spindle fixed to a fitting such that the base metal sheet is rotatable in a horizontal direction. When an operation of rolling up a print target medium is started and if winding tension with respect to the print target medium to be wrapped around a winding shaft becomes unbalanced, the front/back reversing unit rotates in accordance with the winding tension so as to balance the winding tension. Then, when the winding tension applied to the print target medium becomes balanced, the front/back reversing unit is returned to its original position by an elastic member, and the roller of the front/back reversing unit and the winding shaft become substantially parallel to each other.

Abstract:
A printing device includes a first ejector that ejects a recording medium to an exterior, a second ejector that enhances a rigidity of the recording medium more than by the first ejector, and ejects the recording medium to the exterior, and an ejector selector that selects either the first ejector or the second ejector.
Abstract:
A roll sheet image forming apparatus includes an introduction opening and a guide plate. Instead of a continuous sheet held in an apparatus main body, a continuous sheet for option feeding provided at an outside is introduced into the apparatus main body through the introduction opening. The guide plate is for splicing a lead sheet and a continuous sheet. When feeding the continuous sheet, a feeding unit is pulled out from the apparatus main body, a lead sheet is set to be conveyable towards an image forming unit, the feeding unit is again accommodated in the apparatus main body, a front end of the continuous sheet is placed on the guide plate, a rear end of the lead sheet is placed on the guide plate through the introduction opening, the rear end and the front end are spliced by a bonding member and then the feeding unit operates.
Abstract:
In an image forming apparatus provided with a detachable fixing unit having fixing paired-rollers, a heating unit heats at least one of the fixing paired-rollers, and a temperature detecting unit detects a temperature of the detachable fixing unit. The image forming apparatus is further provided with an adjustment mechanism for preventing the detachable fixing unit from being taken out from the apparatus body, when the temperature detecting unit determines that the temperature of the detachable fixing unit exceeds a predetermined value, and allowing the detachable fixing unit to be taken out from the apparatus body, when the temperature detecting unit determines that the temperature of the detachable fixing unit is the predetermined value or less, whereby protecting users from getting their hands burned when taking out the detachable fixing unit from the apparatus body.

Abstract:
A printing apparatus prints an image on a recording medium unwound by an unwinder. The recording medium is wound around a first winding shaft in order from a beginning edge to an ending edge of the recording medium. The wound recording medium is rewound, and the rewound recording medium is wound around a second winding shaft in order from the ending edge to the beginning edge of the recording medium.
Abstract:
A printing apparatus includes a controller that, upon receipt of a printing suspension instruction during printing on a print medium by a printing device, causes a conveyor to stop a conveyance of the print medium from an upstream side to a downstream side after printing a mark on the print medium, causes the conveyor to convey the print medium from the downstream side to the upstream side, then to stop the conveyance of the print medium after a sensor detects the mark printed on the print medium, and upon receipt of a printing restart instruction, causes the conveyor to convey the print medium from a returned position where the print medium is stopped to the downstream side and controls a timing of a printing based on a detection of the mark by the sensor.
