Abstract: Systems and methods to enhance the flow of fracturing fluid into a wellhead during a high-pressure fracturing operation may include providing a pump frame and a crankshaft. A plurality of first plungers may be connected to the crankshaft and may reciprocate in a first plane. The hydraulic fracturing pump also may include a plurality of second plungers connected to the crankshaft and positioned to reciprocate in a second plane. The first plane and the second plane may define a non-zero offset angle between the first plane and the second plane. The crankshaft may include a plurality of crankpins, and each of the crankpins may be connected to one of the first plungers and one of the second plungers. The first plungers may pump a first fracturing fluid and the second plungers may pump a second fracturing fluid different from the first fracturing fluid.

Abstract: A piston pump includes a perforated disk as a throttle, in a central hole of which an outlet valve is arranged and its inner edge is fixed externally on a cylinder sleeve base of the piston pump and an outer edge of which lies with prestress on an annular support. Brake fluid displaced out of the piston pump lifts the perforated disk-shaped throttle off from the annular support, with which a dynamic throttle is formed. A throttle channel which negotiates the annular support in the perforated disk-shaped throttle also enables a throughflow in the case of a throttle lying on the annular support.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a resistant steel composition comprising a nickel content from about 3% MB to about 4% MB; a manganese content from about 0.5% MB to about 1.5% MB; a chromium content from about 12% MB to about 13.4% MB; a molybdenum content from about 0.3% MB to about 0.7% MB; and a copper content of less than about 0.40% MB. In some embodiments, the present disclosure relates to a process for generating a resistant steel composition, the process comprising melting one or more resistant steel components together to form a melted steel; refining the melted steel to form a refined steel; and purifying the refined steel to form the resistant steel composition.

Abstract: A hydraulic unit, in particular a hydraulic unit for a slip-controllable vehicle brake system, includes a housing block, a pump, and a damping device. The pump has an intake side and a delivery side. The housing block has a pump receptacle that holds the pump, a first fluid duct that intersects the pump receptacle in a region of the delivery side of the pump, and a second fluid duct opening into the pump receptacle in the region of the delivery side of the pump, and a first separation point that seals off the first fluid duct from the second fluid duct. The damping device damps pulsations and reduces operating noise of the hydraulic unit without (i) having a detrimental effect on functional characteristics of the unit, in particular on pressure build-up dynamics of the vehicle brake system, or without (ii) jeopardizing a compact construction of the hydraulic unit.

Abstract: A compressor assembly for use with a Pulse Tube cryocooler is disclosed. The compressor assembly includes a central hub having a plurality of faces, and at least four compressor modules mounted on the central hub. Each of the compressor modules is mounted on a face of the plurality of faces. Each compressor module comprises a piston mounted in the central hub and configured to reciprocate along an axis of travel within the central hub. The pistons are mounted head-to-head with each other and collective reciprocation of the pistons along the respective axes minimizes vibration forces of the compressor assembly in X, Y, and Z translational axes of motion.

Abstract: A hydraulic unit, in particular for a controllable-slip vehicle brake system, includes a housing block, a pump, a first fluid duct, and a second fluid duct. The housing block defines a pump receptacle that receives the pump, which has a suction side and a pressure side. The first duct crosses the pump receptacle in a region of the pressure side of the pump. The second duct leads into the pump receptacle in the region of the pressure side. The first and second ducts are sealed off from each over via a separation point. The hydraulic unit is configured to enable contact with a damping device configured to damp pulsations and reduce operating noise of the hydraulic unit without negatively impacting functional properties of the hydraulic unit, in particular on pressure build-up dynamics of the vehicle brake system, or without jeopardizing a compact construction of the hydraulic unit.
