Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides a wireless communication apparatus which can automatically switch to an operation mode corresponding to a communication target. The wireless communication apparatus detects a communication target near to the wireless communication apparatus. It determines whether or not the detected communication target is capable of P2P communication with the wireless communication apparatus. In the case of determining that the communication target is capable of P2P communication, the wireless communication apparatus determines that the communication target is a mobile terminal and switches the operation mode to a P2P mode to establish P2P communication with the mobile terminal. In the case of determining that the communication target is not capable of P2P communication, the wireless communication apparatus determines that the communication target is a contactless IC card and switches the operation mode to a reader/writer mode to read/write information from/to the contactless IC card.

An electronic apparatus including a display section with a touch panel displays a pointer for position designation on a screen of the display section while an operation mode is switched to a predetermined operation mode, and causes an entire region of the touch panel to function as a virtually transparent touchpad, and executes operation process including controlling a display position of the pointer in the display section in accordance with an input operation to the touch panel. For this reason, it is not necessary to display anything on the screen of the display section in order to indicate the virtual touchpad, and there is no possibility that the screen region that is operable is decreased or a part of a plurality of icons and the like disposed on the screen are hidden.

Display operation of a display device is controlled in association with a pointer device. A display control system that includes: a display device for displaying information on a display surface; a control device for controlling the display of the display device; and an image acquisition device for acquiring an image of the display device including a light beam from a pointer device capable of emitting a light beam is proposed. The control device includes: an acquisition unit for acquiring the image from the image acquisition device; a feature identification unit for identifying a feature of the light beam included in the image; and a display control unit for performing display operation of the display device based on the feature and state of the light beam. A corresponding display control method and display control program are proposed, too.

A moving picture processing device detects a predetermined feature point existing in a frame of a moving picture, identifies a position of the frame, in which a changing state of the detected feature point in the moving picture shows a predetermined changing state, and causes the predetermined changing state, as a condition to identify the position of the frame, to be common to other moving pictures.
