摘要: Disclosed is a method of producing a polyethylene terephthalate-based polyester fiber, including spinning polyethylene terephthalate based polyester to produce an undrawn yarn with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.83 or more and a density of 1.338 g/cm3 or more, multi-stage drawing the undrawn yarn, heat-setting the drawn yarn, relaxing the heat-set yarn, and winding the relaxed yarn to produce the resulting drawn yarn with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.83 or more and a density of 1.38 to 1.3865 g/cm3. Compared to a prior polyester yarn with high modulus and low shrinkage, produced according to conventional melt-spinning and drawing processes, an industrial polyester yarn with high modulus and low shrinkage according to the present invention contributes to significantly improving strength retention (tenacity of a dip cord/tenacity of a grey yarn) of the dip cord, produced by treating the polyester yarn of the present invention with an adhesive (RFL) and subsequently heat-treating the RFL-treated polyester yarn. Therefore, the polyester multifilament yarn according to the present invention is useful as a tire cord.

摘要: A method and apparatus for detecting multi-view faces. The method of detecting multi-view face, includes the operations of (a) sequentially attempting to detect from an input image two mode faces among a first mode face made by up and down rotation, a second mode face made by leaning a head to the left and right, and a third mode face made by left and right rotation; (b) attempting to detect the remaining mode face that is not detected in operation (a); and (c) determining that a face is detected from the input image when the remaining mode face is detected in operation (b), wherein operation (b) comprises (b-1) arranging face detectors for all directions in parallel, when face detection succeeds in one direction, performing face detection in the same direction using a more complex face detector, and when face detection fails in one direction, performing face detection in a different direction; and (b-2) independently and separately arranging the face detectors for all directions, when face detection succeeds in one direction, performing face detection in the same direction using a more complex face detector, and when face detection fails, determining that a face is not detected from the input image.

摘要: Provided are a method and apparatus for avoiding bank conflict. A first instruction that is one of access instructions that are predicted to cause the bank conflict is replaced with a second instruction by changing an execute timing of the first instruction to a timing prior to the execute timing of the first instruction so as for the access instructions not to cause the bank conflict. Next, a load/store unit that is scheduled to access the bank according to the first instruction accesses the bank and reads out a data from the bank at an execute timing of the second instruction, and after that, the load/store unit is allowed to be inputted the read data at the execute timing of the first instruction. Accordingly, although the access instructions that are predicted to cause the bank conflict are allocated to the load/store units, the bank conflict can be prevented, so that it is possible to avoid deterioration in performance due the occurrence of the bank conflict.

摘要: Provided is a method and of controlling a voltage of power supplied to a 3-dimensional (3D) graphics data processor and the 3D graphics data processor using the method. The method includes controlling the voltage of the power supplied to the graphics data processor based on the amount of data representing an object included in graphics data and re-controlling the voltage of the power supplied to the graphics data processor based on a time difference between scheduled processing time according to the controlled voltage for the object and actual processing time consumed by the graphics data processor, thereby reducing power consumption.
