    摘要: An antenna for controlling a radiation pattern includes a first substrate; a first radiator formed in one surface of the first substrate; a second radiator formed in other surface of the first substrate; and a tuning part which controls a radiation pattern by changing a size of an overlapping region of the first radiator and the second radiator disposed with the first substrate interposed therebetween according to an external control signal. The tuning part includes a plurality of sub-radiators arranged by at least one side of the first radiator or the second radiator, and a plurality of switches. Accordingly, the beam radiation pattern can be easily controlled through the switch control.

The slot antenna includes a feeding unit of a strip line shape which is disposed on a first surface of a substrate, a ground which is disposed on a second surface of the substrate, and an antenna element which is formed by connecting two sub slots formed on the second surface of the substrate, wherein each of the sub slots is arranged at an edge of the ground in an internal direction of the ground. Accordingly, the size of the antenna is reduced, and more area is provided for arranging components of a terminal.

    摘要: An ultra wide band (UWB) device and a detect and avoid (DAA) method thereof are provided. The UWB device includes a detect and avoid (DAA) module block which detects a strength of radio signals received in a plurality of channels and determines communicability of the channels; a multitone generation block which generates a plurality of frequencies corresponding to the plurality of the channels and outputs one of the plurality of frequencies; and a controller which controls the multitone generation block to generate frequencies of an available channel which is determined to be communicable by the DAA module block. The method includes detecting a strength of radio signals received in a plurality of channels; determining communicability of the channels according to the detected strength of the radio signals; generating frequencies corresponding to a channel which is determined to be communicable; and transmitting or receiving a signal using the generated frequencies.

    摘要: A concurrent mode antenna system includes an antenna which generates a plurality of operating frequencies that are available at a same time, the antenna comprising a plurality of feed points; and a signal processing circuit which is connected to the feed points and processes radio signals transmitted and received by the antenna. Accordingly, the antenna system can not only provide various wireless services corresponding to the respective operating frequency bands on the single antenna but also miniaturize the antenna system. Furthermore, the antenna system can achieve the insertion loss prevention, the simplified structure, and the lower cost.

    摘要: A multiple frequency band antenna is provided that includes a radiating unit having a slot formed on a first surface of the substrate that is closed at one end and open at the other end, and a feed unit formed on a second surface of the substrate to pass through an area on the second surface that corresponds with the same area on first surface between the center and the closed side of the slot. The feeding unit comprises at least one switch which adjusts the size of an area for feeding power to the antenna. The radiating unit is resonated in a plurality of frequency bands when the switch is turned off, and the radiating unit is resonated in a single frequency band which is different from the plurality of frequency bands when the switch is turned on. Consequently, an antenna is implemented for use in multiple frequency bands.

    摘要: A miniaturized multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna includes a first antenna element disposed in a first side of a substrate in a round form; a second antenna element in a round form symmetrically with the first antenna element and disposed in the first side of the substrate; and a ground disposed in a second side of the substrate. The first antenna element and the second antenna element are disposed such that electro magnetic waves resonating in the first antenna element and the second antenna element are orthogonally polarized. Accordingly, the antenna size can be reduced. The miniaturized antenna facilitates the component design in the small terminal.
