Abstract: Systems and network devices configured to use Stateless Address Auto-Configuration (SLAAC) to provide different internet protocol (IP) address information to user equipment (UE) devices that are connected to the same local area network (LAN). A network device (e.g., default router, etc.) may determine whether a UE device is eligible to receive special treatment based on a link-layer address of the UE device. The network device send the UE device an unicast router advertisement that includes a special prefix in response to determining that the UE device is eligible to receive special treatment. The network device may send the UE device an unicast router advertisement that includes a base prefix for the LAN in response to determining that the UE device is not eligible to receive special treatment.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing differentiated network services using Mapping of Address and Port using translation (MAP-T) technology are described. A method includes provisioning a service specific IPv6 network prefix and a service specific basic mapping rule to an access device, the service specific IPv6 network prefix associated with a differentiated network service level, provisioning a service specific mapping rule to a border relay, identifying by the access device service packets associated with the differentiated network service level, translating by the access device the identified service packets to the service specific IPv6 network prefix using the service specific basic mapping rule to generate service specific packets, forwarding the service specific packets to the border relay via a service provider network, translating return packets to service specific return packets using the service specific mapping rule, and forwarding the service specific return packets to the access device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for an accelerated and offload dual border relay. A method includes receiving, by a hardware border relay from a network device, an Internet Protocol (IP) packet, determining, by the hardware border relay, a packet type of the IP packet, translating, by the hardware border relay provisioned with IPv6 transition technology rules, the IP packet to a hardware translated IP packet when the IP packet is a first type, translating, by the offload border relay provisioned with MAP-T rules, the IP packet to an offload translated IP packet when the IP packet is a second type, transmitting, by the offload border relay to the hardware border relay, the offload translated IP packet when the IP packet is the second type, and transmitting, by the hardware border relay, one of the offload translated IP packet and the hardware translated IP packet to another network device.
