摘要: A circuit breaker for detecting overload is disclosed. The circuit breaker detects an overload condition electrically without using bimetal. The circuit breaker for detecting overload includes an arc fault detector and a discharge controller. If arc fault occurs, the discharge controller discharges voltage charged in a capacitor. Therefore, the circuit breaker does not trip the circuit when arc fault occurs although high current flows on a conductor. Further, the circuit breaker for detecting overload includes a charging time constant controller so that charging time is varied according to current flowing on the conductor.

摘要: An apparatus and method for automatically controlling screens displayed on two display units installed in a mobile terminal are provided, in which, an event is identified, if an event occurs, and on and off states of the display units are controlled, if the event is identified as a control operation of the display units corresponding to a user's key input. If the event is identified as a control operation of the display units corresponding to an operation of a sensor, the display units are automatically controlled corresponding to rotation of the mobile terminal.

摘要: A heating system for a subsurface formation includes an electrical conductor and an insulation layer at least partially surrounding the electrical conductor. A jacket that includes ferromagnetic material at least partially surrounds the insulation layer. The outside surface of the jacket is configured to be at little or no electric potential while the electrical conductor is conducting electricity and while the jacket is at temperatures below the Curie temperature of the ferromagnetic material.

摘要: A fitting for coupling ends of insulated conductors includes a sleeve to couple an end of a jacket of a first insulated conductor to an end of a jacket of a second insulated conductor. The sleeve is located between end portions of the insulated conductors. At least one of the ends of the sleeve is angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the sleeve. The sleeve has a longitudinal opening that extends along the length of the sleeve substantially the distance between end portions of the jackets of the insulated conductors. The longitudinal opening allows electrically insulating material to be filled into the sleeve.

摘要: A method for processing a multi-touch input for a mobile device having a touch screen of a resistive overlay type which is normally incapable of recognizing a multi-touch input. A first data based on a first touch is displayed and a second touch is detected while the first touch is maintained. An intermediate data unexpectedly occurring between the first and second touches is treated as invalid data and removed when one of the first and second touches is released. Then a second data based on the second touch is displayed. This method makes it possible to properly recognize a multi-touch input through software-based technique, while reducing unexpected input errors caused by a multi-touch input and thus permitting a user's quick input action.
