摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for analyzing, managing and cataloguing video tracks generated by a video surveillance system. Systems and methods operating in accordance with the present invention receive video tracks from a video surveillance system; analyze them for particular categories of, for example, objects or events, assign unique identifying tags to the video tracks; and save them in highly-cross-referenced databases so that video tracks containing, for example, particular objects or events can be easily searched for and recalled. In addition, the present invention provides browsing facilities for viewing events that have just elapsed, events that are occurring in near real-time.

摘要: A LPC/ISA bridge and its bridging method are disclosed for bridging an LPC interface to an ISA interface. The LPC/ISA bridge is activated in response to a duty cycle indicative signal (LFRAME#), and serially transforms related command, address and data information from command/address/data lines (LAD[3:0]) of the LPC interface into address, data and control signals of the ISA interface. Therefore, the problem as to the interface incompatibility is solved.

摘要: The present invention provides a pill splitter that is designed for cutting pills in a relatively safe and reliable manner. The pill splitter includes a main body with a top housing and a bottom housing having a blade mounted thereto. The top housing has a slot defined therein for receipt of the blade. The top housing moves relative to the bottom housing between a protected position, unexposed blade, and a cutting position, exposed blade. In the protected position, the top housing resides in front of the blade to prevent a user from contacting the blade. In the cutting position, the blade is routed through the slot in the top housing thereby exposing a cutting edge thereof for cutting a pill.

摘要: A method of retrieving storage capacity of damaged sector. A storage medium comprising a storage capacity part and a reserved capacity part is provided. The storage capacity part comprises multiple primary sectors, while the reserved capacity part comprises multiple secondary sectors. The storage medium is scanned to find and record a damaged sector in the storage capacity part. An identity field of the damaged sector is overwritten by an null identity field of one of the secondary sectors. The identity field of the damaged sector is written into the secondary sector.
