摘要： A connector assembly has a receptacle connector and a plug connector adapted for inserting in the receptacle connector. The receptacle connector (100) includes housing (140), a first terminal (162) and a second terminal (164) secured in the housing. The second terminal is lower than the first terminal. The plug connector includes a paddle board (200) having a first conductive member (242) and a second conductive member (244). The second conductive member is higher than the first member. The first terminal contacts with the first conductive member, and the second terminal contacts with the second conductive member. The paddle board is capable of inserting into the housing easily and protecting the terminals and the paddle board.

The PCB comprises a first sub-PCB (540) having a first outer layer containing the first mating pads and an opposite second outer layer containing the second mating pads, and a second sub-PCB (560) attached to the second outer layer on an area behind the second mating pads, the second sub-PCB having a second outer layer containing the third mating pads.

摘要： A pluggable module (3) retained in a mating receptacle cage (1) which has a retaining tab (10) includes a housing (30) and an ejector device (34). The housing has a latch portion (310) retained in the retaining tab, a recessing portion (312) defined on a surface thereof, at least one inclined portion (314) located on the surface of the recessing portion. The ejector device includes a spring member (340) slidably received in the recessing portion and a driving portion (341) for pulling the spring member forwardly. The spring member is guided by the inclined portion and upwardly resists against the retaining tab for releasing the latch portion of the housing from the retaining tab of the receptacle cage.

The terminals include an upper terminal (211, 221) having an upper contact portion (2111, 2211), and a lower contact terminal (212, 222) having a lower contact portion (2121, 2221). The upper contact portion and the lower contact portion are separated from each other along a vertical direction to define a slot (214, 224) therebetween. The upper terminal and the lower contact terminal are secured in the wafer at two positions remote from each other along a mating direction perpendicular to the vertical direction, with the upper contact portion and the lower contact portion approaching close to each other along the mating direction.

摘要： An optical connector assembly (1000) includes an optical connector plug (100) and an optical connector receptacle (600). The optical connector plug includes a base (3), a head portion (1) and a pair of springs (2) compressed between the base and the head portion. The base includes a body portion (30) and a pair of beam portions (31) formed at opposite sides of the body portion. Each beam portion has a guiding portion (310) extending from the body portion, a lever (312) and a latching portion (311). The head portion carries a number of fibers and includes a securing portion (10) defining a pair of guiding recesses (12). The guiding portions are slidably mounted to the guiding recesses. The latching portions retain the securing portion in position relative to the body portion against a restoring force of the springs.
