摘要: Apparatuses, computer readable media, and methods for uplink sounding in wireless networks are disclosed. An apparatus of a wireless device may include processing circuitry configured to: encode an uplink sounding trigger element (USTE) for one or more stations, the USTE comprising one or more uplink (UL) resource allocations for the one or more stations to transmit one or more uplink sounding referee elements (USREs) to the wireless device. The processing circuitry may be further configured to configure the wireless device to transmit the USTE to the one or more stations, and decode the one or more USREs from the one or more station, wherein the one or more USREs are to be received by the wireless device in accordance with a corresponding resource allocation indicated in the USTE.

摘要: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method for uplink sounding are generally described herein. The AP may transmit an uplink (UL) sounding trigger frame (TF) that indicates a request to receive UL sounding elements from a group of one or more stations (STAs). The AP may receive UL sounding elements from the STAs in accordance with UL multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) reception. The AP may also receive, from at least a portion of the STAs, UL sounding feedback that includes one or more UL sounding transmission parameters used by the portion of the STAs for UL sounding element transmissions. The UL sounding TF may further indicate the portion of the STAs that are to transmit the UL sounding feedback.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, computer readable media for uplink transmission power control in a wireless network. An apparatus of a wireless device comprising processing circuitry is disclosed. The processing circuitry is configured to decode a trigger frame from an access point for an uplink communication, the trigger frame comprising an uplink resource allocation for the station, the uplink resource allocation including common information and per station information, the common information including an indication of a maximum receive power at the access point, the per station information comprising an identification of the station, and an indication of a resource unit (RU). The processing circuitry may be further configured to: encode an uplink (UL) physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU)(UL-PPDU) in accordance with the indication of the RU. The processing circuitry may be further configured to: determine a transmit power for the UL-PPDU based on the maximum receive power.

摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and computer readable media are disclosed for sounding using manipulated null data packets (NDP). An apparatus of an wireless device comprising memory and processing circuitry coupled to the memory is disclosed. The processing circuitry may be configured to: encode a null data packet (NDP) announcement (NDP-A) frame, configure the wireless device to transmit the NDP-A frame, and encode a manipulated NDP frame. The processing circuitry may be further configured to configure the wireless device to transmit the manipulated NDP frame, encode a trigger frame comprising resource allocations for one or more stations, and configure the wireless device to transmit the trigger frame. The processing circuitry may decode beamforming feedback frames from the stations, where the beamforming feedback frames are to he received by the wireless device in accordance with the resource allocations, and where the beamforming feedback frames are to comprise feedback for the manipulated NDP frame.

摘要: System and techniques for multi-phase wireless sounding are described herein. A first set of stations may be selected by an access point from a plurality of stations known to the access point. The access point may then transmit a first sounding request to members of the first set of stations. The access point may receive a sounding report in response to the first sounding request from members of the first set of stations. The access point may then select a second set of stations from the plurality of stations based on the sounding report. This second set of stations is a proper subset of the first set of stations. The access point may then transmit a second sounding request to the second set of stations.

摘要: Embodiments of a station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The STA may be included in a first plurality of STAs affiliated with a first multi-link logical entity (MLLE). A plurality of links may be established between the first MLLE and a second MLLE, wherein the second MLLE may be affiliated with a second plurality of STAs. The STA may receive a first subset of a sequence of MAC protocol data units (MPDUs). A second subset of the sequence of MPDUs may be transmitted by another STA of the first plurality of STAs. The STA may transmit a block acknowledgement (BA) frame that includes: a number of BA bitmaps, configurable to values greater than or equal to one; and BA control information for each of the BA bitmaps.

摘要: An access point (AP) may operate as a master AP (AP1) to perform multi-AP coordinated beamforming (CBF). The AP1 may to initiate a first sounding sequence with one or more STAs associated with the AP1 (BSS STAs) and the one or more STAs associated with a second AP (AP2) (OBSS STAs). In these embodiments, initiation of the first sounding sequence triggers the AP2 to join the sounding sequence to initiate a second sound sequence with the BSS STAs and the OBSS STAs.

摘要: An extremely high throughput (EHT) station (STA) configured for trigger based (TB) transmission may decode an trigger frame (TF) received from an access point (AP). The TF may include an assignment of resources comprising one or more 20 MHz channels. The EHT STA may determine which of the one or more assigned channels are available for transmission and which of the allocated channels are unavailable when the EHT STA is assigned more than one 20 MHz channel. The EHT STA may encode a EHT TB PPDU in response to the trigger frame. The EHT TB PPDU may be encoded to include an EHT preamble followed by a data field. The EHT preamble may be encoded to indicate channel availability. The EHT STA may generate signaling to cause the EHT STA to transmit the encoded EHT TB PPDU only on the assigned channels that have been determined to be available.

摘要: An access point (AP) configured for multi-AP coordinated beamforming (CBF) and multi-AP joint transmission (JT) in an Extremely High Throughput (EHT) wireless local area network (WLAN), when operating as a master AP (AP1) in a multi-AP network, is configured to encode a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame for multi-AP channel sounding. The NDPA is configured for transmission to a second AP (AP2) and a plurality of stations (STAs) of an EHT group. The NDPA may be encoded to have an information field indicating whether a sounding sequence type is for JT channel sounding or CBF channel sounding. The NDPA may further be encoded to include fields identifying the APs participating in the channel sounding. In these embodiments, the channel sounding sequence for JT can be reused for the channel sounding on CBF.
