摘要： Methods and apparatuses for performing inter-color-plane prediction with adaptability to various existing video content representations are provided. A plurality of predetermined rescaling schemes based on a color plane format is selected. A first block of original samples of a first color plane is encoded into a compressed bitstream. A block of reconstructed samples of the first color plane is reconstructed. An inter-color-plane prediction process is performed to produce samples of a second color plane. Said block of prediction samples of the second color plane is subtracted from a second block of original samples of the second color plane to produce a block of residual samples of the second color plane where the positions of the first block and the second block of original samples are aligned. Finally, the block of residual samples of the second color plane is encoded.

摘要： A method of encoding video using a plurality of reference pictures is provided. The method includes: writing one of a parameter or a flag into one or more reference pictures of the plurality of reference pictures, creating a first list of reference pictures comprising the plurality of reference pictures sorted based on the parameter or flag, and encoding a current picture of the video using at least the first list of reference pictures. A method of decoding video using a plurality of reference pictures is also provided. The method includes parsing one of a parameter or flag from one or more reference pictures of the plurality of reference pictures, creating a first list of reference pictures comprising the plurality of reference pictures sorted based on the parameter or flag, and decoding a current picture of the video using at least the first list of reference pictures. In addition, there are provided corresponding apparatuses for encoding and decoding video.

摘要： An image coding method decodes a coded stream which is generated by inter prediction coding a moving picture and includes processing units and a header of such units, the processing units including at least one processing unit divided in a hierarchy, the hierarchy including: a highest hierarchical layer in which a coding unit is a largest processing unit; and a lower hierarchical layer in which a prediction unit exists. The method comprises: identifying, by parsing hierarchy depth information stored in the header and indicating a hierarchical layer higher than a lowest hierarchical layer in which a smallest prediction unit exits, a hierarchical layer which is indicated by the hierarchy depth information or a hierarchical layer higher than the indicated hierarchical layer, the hierarchical layer having a prediction unit that stores an adaptive motion vector resolution switch flag necessary for decoding; and decoding the prediction unit, using the flag.
