    摘要: A card is equipped with a regulating drafting system at the card delivery arrangement. The measuring values for regulating the drafting system are obtained from the drafted fibre sliver. The sliver depositing device can be pre-controlled relative to the drafting system in order to keep the stresses in the fibre sliver between the drafting system and the sliver depositing device within limits. A fibre sliver storage device (11) is arranged upstream from the regulating drafting system (13) with relatively small capacity. In order to enable timely action if long term deviations are detected in the fibre sliver mass (m) delivered, a sensor (10) can be arranged between the card (1) and the regulating drafting system (13), and the base rotational speed (U14) of the drive (25, 26) of the regulating drafting system (13) can be adapted based on signals transmitted by the sensor (10).

    摘要: To optimize the cleaning of cotton in a spinning milk, there is entered into a control original data concerning fiber characteristics and proportions of different types of contamination inherent to the origin of fiber cotton bales. Also there is entered into the control a desired degree of cleaning and a throughput quantity of the carded fiber sliver. The control delivers predetermined control signals based upon the entered original data, the throughput quantity of the carded sliver and the desired degree of cleaning. These control signals set adjustable operating members governing the rate of opening of the cotton bales by bale opening machines, the degree of cleaning of the cotton fibers by cleaning machines and the rate of processing of the cotton fibers by at least one carding machine.

A bale plucker removes fiber flocks from bales of fiber material and a flock transporting system delivers the flocks from the bale plucker to a carding machine or other processing apparatus. A feed chute is configured with the card machine and includes a first part for receiving flocks from the flock transporting system, and a second part for delivering a fiber lap to the card machine. A cleaning device is disposed within the feed chute between the first and second parts. The cleaning device comprises a fine cleaning nip feed arrangement. This nip feed arrangement in the feed chute is the only fine cleaning nip feed arrangement within the system between the bale plucker and the cleaning device.
