    摘要: A path switching system is provided, in which when UE has been offloaded from a first PDN-GW to a second PDN-GW, if there is an additional connection of the UE to the first PDN-GW, processing related to the additional connection can be performed on the UE side. The system includes: a control unit for sending a mobile terminal a message including information indicative of having switched relay devices, which relay a packet between the mobile terminal and a communication device, from a first relay device to a second relay device; and the mobile terminal for determining whether there is an added path other than part of a path from the mobile device before movement to the communication device and capable of being managed by the control unit, established between the mobile terminal and the first relay device, and when there is the added path, performing processing on the added path.

    摘要: Disclosed is a technique for enabling a device that needs to send high priority and high bandwidth user plane traffic to send the user plane traffic even in the case where a group bandwidth has an upper limit in group-based communication. According to the technique, when an MTC device that is to send high priority and high bandwidth user plane traffic sends a service request to a network node (P-GW 213a), the network node allows use of a minimum bandwidth bearer in the case where the upper limit of the group bandwidth is exceeded. The MTC device sends a traffic sending request to an MTC server 214a via the bearer. The MTC server stops traffic of an appropriate other MTC device, to secure a bandwidth for the MTC device having the high priority and high bandwidth user plane traffic.

    摘要: Disclosed is a technique for enabling a device that needs to send high priority and high bandwidth user plane traffic to send the user plane traffic even in the case where a group bandwidth has an upper limit in group-based communication. According to the technique, when an MTC device that is to send high priority and high bandwidth user plane traffic sends a service request to a network node (P-GW 213a), the network node allows use of a minimum bandwidth bearer in the case where the upper limit of the group bandwidth is exceeded. The MTC device sends a traffic sending request to an MTC server 214a via the bearer.     摘要: A User Equipment (UE) that is simultaneously connected (via a 3G connection and a non-3G connection) to a Packet Data Network Gateway (P-GW) can direct how traffic flows would be routed from the P-GW to the UE. Typically, the P-GW would setup the 3G communication path to the UE when it receives a downlink data packet directed to the UE's 3G path. If the P-GW uses such logic for setting a communication path to the UE without knowing the user's actual intention, this might result in the case where the user would experience some service degradation for ongoing session. In addition, it is possible that the packets filters for a first UE interface are not utilized due to the erroneous setting of the packets filters for a second UE interface. To resolve this issue, the UE would indicate to the P-GW of the user's intention for communication path setup with the benefit of conserving the UE's battery.

    摘要: Disclosed is a technique to enable a communication node to acquire predetermined newer information (e.g., configuration information) held by another communication node while minimizing power consumption by communication nodes. According to the technique, when receiving a request for configuration information from a new MTC device 100, a MME 220 checks whether an existing MTC device 110 as a request target for configuration information connects or not. When the existing MTC device does not connect, the new MTC device is notified of time information (e.g., next connection time of the existing MTC device, a next connection time of a new MTC device or a next connection time zone of the new MTC device). This time information enables the new MTC device to specify a time after the MME acquires and holds the configuration information from the existing MTC device. The new MTC device reconnects based on this time information, whereby the new MTC device can acquire desired configuration information from the MME.

    摘要: A technique is disclosed for preventing a mobile terminal from unnecessarily connecting to a local connection service provided by a mobile router. In a communication system, a UE 10 sends user preference information to a forwarding node 20 before the UE connects to the forwarding node, which is installed in a moving body 110 as an access point of the UE to forward information to the UE. The forwarding node determines whether information capable of being supplied to the UE is appropriate for a user of the UE based on the preference information and sends the determination result to the UE. When the UE becomes connectable to the forwarding node, the UE does not connect to the forwarding node if the information capable of being supplied is not appropriate for the user of the UE based on the determination result; else the UE connects to the forwarding node.
