An electrode assembly is provided. The electrode assembly is a wound electrode assembly and includes a first separator and a second separator. A difference between a number of winding turns of the first separator and a number of winding turns of the second separator is greater than or equal to 1. The electrode assembly in embodiments of this application can reduce or avoid lithium precipitation, to improve safety of the battery cell.
